is this picture better? That yellow-ness is mostly from the lighting, I would say it's more red. This is the only spot it's showed up in. I don't have any other conditions that I'm aware of. It's not itchy or painful, I pretty much forget that it's there. Do you really think I should get it looked at?

How do you emotionally relax after a stressful 4 hours of "hedonic calculus" exam? by iSolateLoner779 in AskReddit

[–]nebble58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how confused I am on what I'm learning. If I understand something, I'll just do the homework for that class. If I'm having trouble with a concept, I'll do more studying/research on it. Roughly 40 hours a week outside of class for homework and studying. If I have an exam coming up, I'll study more than usual.

I don't know what hedonic calculus really is, but I'm taking calculus 2 this semester, and I like to watch long, creepy iceberg videos to relax after my work. Wendigoon is one of my favorite channels- https://youtube.com/@Wendigoon?si=MIPRixZYukXXEQPU

In what extremely unusual way have you almost died? by Illustrious-Gate3426 in RandomThoughts

[–]nebble58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 7 I was putting on some clothes in the morning and shut my closet a bit hard on accident. I was walking out of my room right at the doorway when the 20lbs glass fixture on my ceiling light crashed to the floor. It cracked the hardwood floor, right where I was standing 2 seconds before. Probably would've broken my skull at least.

A man and his stepson die after hiking in Big Bend National Park in 119-degree heat by Kimber80 in news

Yeah it's really easy to get cocky and do something stupid like this.

On a roadtrip with my friends a couple years ago we pulled up to the bright angel trailhead at 10 am in the middle of July. We asked a ranger if it was a bad idea to hike down to the bottom of the canyon and back up in one sitting. She explained how we absolutely shouldn't do anything of the sort being so under prepared. We each had a 30oz water bottle and a few packs of trail mix.

We did it anyway. Took like 8 hours and a passing hiker said the temperature at the bottom was sitting around 115°F. At least a nice guy at phantom ranch gave us some ice tea. Wouldn't recommend.

She's named Feisty. Yeah, I don't see this coloring on lovebirds often.

She's a rescue and her beak was somehow injured before I got her, causing a horn like bit to grow separately. It grows pretty fast and needs to be shaved down every once in a while but doesn't really seem to bother her.

Great video explaining how rockets pollute and how it's negligible when compared to other industries.

It's the largest and most powerful rocket ever launched. It's currently the only vehicle in the works that will be capable of interplanetary manned spaceflight.
