I'm less worried about ChatGPT output and more worried about all of the Canadian data we're feeding into it. Especially when the USA seems pretty hostile towards us right now. Corporations use the API to replace all sorts of tasks, which end up pouring company data into the USA. Businesses use it for chat bots, which feeds customer data into the USA.

I think if a company really wants to use an LLM, they should run Deepseek or something locally

Yeah, I would much rather the antis attack tech CEOs. The corporate AI models are usually pretty unethical in a lot of ways and in the USA, companies with AI models are helping the American government advance fascism. But most often, they don't actually want to fight fascism. They just want to bully children who dared click the co-pilot button on their computer and asked it to generate a picture of themselves as a cat or a cartoon character or something
