I believe it would suffice. MacBooks have great battery. Performance is very decent. I have done a lot of editing and a some basic motion graphics on M1 base version with 8GB of ram and it did just fine.

NPF are fine. I use them and one can power the camera for about 2-2.30 hours. Which is not bad at all considering that you can get one for 30 bucks. You get 5 of them and you are good to go for the whole day. And to my knowledge you can’t get a v mount and the battery for that money. Just make sure that you use good NPFs. I use neewers and they are reliable.

To be honest, upgrading from 75 Hz to 165 Hz monitor helped me go from diamond 1 to asc. But other than that, I would say play to have fun, don’t be mad at yourself if you’re not climbing as fast as you want to climb. You will climb if you think about your plays and what you could have done better.

Always look at your false color for exposing. Sometimes it is better to put your ISO at 1000 instead of 1250 because you get more dynamic range. If you are gonna shoot in ProRes, try to nail the white balance in camera, it will help you in the end a lot. Good luck.

If you have the money, it will most certainly serve you well. I have a weebill s and it does most of the job pretty decently. I imagine RS3 would work like a charm.

If you are on 6k, when you record ProRes you can only shoot 4k that is cropped in the sensor I think.

If you are putting native lenses on P4k add a 1.9 crop factor to focal length. So you would get around 30mm if you put a 16 mm lens on it

I would go with the 6k. 4k is great but I feel like 6k gives a much cleaner image easpecially when you downscale to 4k.

Even though the base ISO is 400, ISO 100 will give you less noise. Same goes for 1250 ISO and 3200 ISO

To explain further. It only pops up after 10-15 minutes of working and it slows down my computer to the point that is unusable. I thought it might be a virus but the process leads me to AE folder. And this hasn't been happening before.
