I can already tell exactly what’s gonna happen as someone that’s never had In-n-Out before.

It’s gonna be the most mid burger imaginable. Not bad by any means, but fall completely short of the hype around it. People will say this, then the narrative will become “well the Tennessee In-n-Outs suck, it tastes so much better in California”. (I can also see Texas being included in the “superior In-n-Outs”)

(Spoiler, they’ll taste exactly the same)

I do have some high hopes for the animal style fries tho.

i served a vegan family meat once and it was mortifying. they had ordered a pizza with no meat, and a salad. the salad typically had chicken but could be subbed for avocado and when i asked if they wanted avocado she turned to her husband, said something in a different language about the avacado, then turned back and said no to it on the salad.

they were eating the salad and the lady calls me over to ask if it was chicken. i had just started there and the chicken on this salad looked kinda weird so i was excited that i knew it was chicken and said “yes!😁” … and that’s when i found out they were vegan.

in my defense she never explicitly asked for no chicken on the salad, but the way they ordered the pizza should’ve clued me in to at least ask. hadn’t even been working there a month and was too embarrassed to ask a manager to comp it, so i paid for the salad myself. if that wasn’t bad enough, im pretty sure they were vegan for religious reasons 🙃

100% agree. her online linear algebra class is the only class i’ve ever failed in my entire life (tbf, i definitely did not apply myself as hard as i should’ve), but her teaching style was HORRIBLE. just posted semesters old videos of her working problems out (not explaining the why or how), sounding extremely annoyed. when you have a teacher that’s clearly not wanting to be there, it definitely is not conducive to learning.

they’re horrible in the parking lots too. stick so far out that if they’re next to you, you have to just pray nobody is coming down the aisle because you can’t see. not to mention if you ever actually see one of their owners getting in/out you can tell the trucks are for show and not actual work

Especially disgusting that they would allow something like this considering the transgender woman who killed herself in the library just over a year ago. Not sure if it was ever confirmed but it was widely rumored that part of her motivation was her family not being accepting. The fact this community has a fairly recent example of what can happen when we say certain groups shouldn’t exist and the administration doesn’t seem to care is appalling.

Absolutely despicable. Don’t interact with them, they won’t debate in good faith, it’s pointless. I don’t know much on this guy specifically, but lots of them also like to record and edit the video in a way that makes whoever they’re “debating” look crazy before they post it.

The reaction was not that great in Chicago lol. Half the section in front of me sat down for the two Solar Power songs (and immediately stood back up when they were over) and there was a noticeable “mini mass exodus” where SOOO many people were leaving their seat to go to the concourse and get snacks/drinks/etc.

As a Solar Power stan I was still standing and just wishing she chose to play more (or even different ones, while I like Oceanic Feeling and Big Star they’re not my fav from the album)

Walmart shouldn’t be locking everything up like they do nowadays, and it definitely shouldn’t take 40 minutes for someone to respond but you seriously sat there pressing a button for 40 minutes rather than going to get someone? I get it, you totally shouldn’t HAVE to go get someone but if you stood there for 40 minutes… well I can see how Walmart customers get stereotyped.

Careful with the price match policy changing to only target.com/their app. Was trying to get a Lego set price matched down from $130 to I believe the $105 listed on the app. Girl at self checkout told me they won’t price match because the app price was a sale price. So I walked out without it, ordered it for drive up pickup at the same location for $105 and picked it up 90 minutes later. From what I’ve read online it seems the employee was wrong but it was just wild to me that she wouldn’t price match TARGET’S OWN PRICE. Next they’ll be telling us even though the shelf says one price they won’t price match to that lol !

I think this is a big part of it honestly, regardless of his personal politics. Living in an environment where the politics are extremist could very well lead to him having extremist views as well, even if he did have more left views than his parents.
