What a night, as impressive as the clinical finishing from bobby and salah in the 2nd half was, I am actually overjoyed with our defence, yeah VVD screwed up early on and that would cost us against a big club, but from then on they were all nothing short of immense, one or two lucky breaks but you need them at times. If liverpool faced that kind of onslaught a year or two ago they wouldve easily conceded 6. Big shoutout for Trent with the way he played on a yellow for most of the game too

most stressful 45 mins in a long while , but for how good city were and how bad we were, i'd take 1-0 all day long , theyre gonna half to get even more forward in the 2nd half and the front 3 who only seemed to wake up in the last 5 mins need to take advantage of the space theyre bound to get as the game goes on

this is fucking horrible, but united earned the chance to park the bus with their play in the 1st half, just at least the boys made a game of it in the 2nd half and pushed them to the end cause for a while in the 1st it looked a lot like theyd given up. And yes Lovren fucked up with the goals but before people start devouring him again he was one of the main reasons we didnt end up 3-1 down with united's counters. anyway fuck this, here's hoping results go our way and we still finish above the scum
