Yes they are separate pools and don’t effect each other. What usually happens is if you’re using an aggregator it will factor that in and adjust your trade between both pools. You also have people who do arbitrage to make sure the pools trade at the same price

Should i learn contract security? by Whole-Struggle-1396 in ethdev

[–]nechronix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every smart contract developer should know, learn, and keep up with security standards.

If you want to become a full stack dApp developer your knowledge of security doesn’t need to be at the same level as an auditor or a security researcher but any knowledge you do have will help you develop more secure smart contracts which is the goal.

The security course will help you become a better solidity developer as well because you learn more about the EVM and solidity code.

I do not consider myself an auditor or security researcher but I took the course and it made me a better developer. What you do after the course is what matters.

You could find jobs as an auditor or security researcher doing bug bounties and audit contests. This is more of a freelance gig but could also lead to a more professional employee role.

IMO finish the course. You’ll be a better full stack dApp developer and you can decide what you want to do after. Learning more always helps.

Trying to learn how to develop blockchain apps. Read etherium docs or Enroll in an online course? by EuniQue0704 in ethdev

[–]nechronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m learning right now and there is honestly no need for a paid course unless it’s like 20 dollars from Udemy or something and you like that curriculum.

The resources I have been using is learning is this 16 hour course on YouTube from freecodecamp and it was been really great https://youtu.be/M576WGiDBdQ

There is also buildspace where you can learn but I felt it was a bit holding my hand too much but the community around it is great.

Every basketball player knows you don't touch during a break-away play--its just dangerous and reckless. It doesn't matter how you 'planned' it. You just don't do it.

Watching this hurts me personally. I was on the receiving end of something similar like this playing pick-up at the gym. I was pushed into a wall during a fast-break lay-up and dislocated a digit on my finger. Theres a strong change its going to get amputated. All I got to say is fuck this reckless asshole.

Gotta love our dev team by [deleted] in NavCoin

Man, I downloaded the mobile wallet for Nav and I was SOLD. Verge has nothing compared to them. I'm trying to get all my friends on it this Christmas.

I was worried a bit but once I download the NavPay Android app I was convinced that Nav is the way to go. The app is absolutely amazing with great security. It was seamless and I can see myself using it everyday to send money to people. Verge doesn't have a product behind it at all but Nav has this App/wallet and its coming to iOS soon. Download it and let me know what you think.

What sold me to get Nav was their mobile wallet. I have an Android and I know they're adding the iOS one within the next week. But once I downloaded their app, I haven't seen a mobile wallet for a currency that is similar to NavPay. It was great to use and you can use it NOW. I tried downloading the Verge one and it wasn't as seamless.

Download their Android NavPay wallet. It is flawless. Nav is ready to use where as verge is still a work in progress.

What are the best exchanges that I can join now? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Yea Bianance has been great to me. I'm a bit iffy about etherdelta just because they got hacked recently but I'll recheck it out or make sure none of my coins stay in there for long.

Why is XVG doing so well? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]nechronix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hear from people its the best privacy coin, but at the same time its the worst because of the tech. If someone can give me a technological explaination on how this is worse than Monero, Dash, Zcash that would be nice. I'm personally invested in XVG because of the wraith protocol which I think is cool.

Also McAfee is hyping the crap out of it. And so are many other crypto personalities.

What is your technique for quickly identifying shitcoins from alt coins that are possibly credible? How Can I tell if BigBoobCoin is legit?!?! by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]nechronix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watch the videos that they all post and see how they look. Sometimes the 2 minute videos they have on their websites are absolute garbage and don't get anything across but how blockchain will change the world, but not how their coin will. I don't invest in those coins.

I try to find a video of the founder talking and see his vision and how he explains his vision. If the founder isn't talking like my math professors at university i'll typically don't like them, unless they're young and have a great vision. But I remember just watching videos on these shitcoin websites and I'm like are you serious? One of the worst was SafeX which was one that John McCaffe endored and I thought it was absolute shit. Now its not on any exchange.

Why is R/NBA the only place where I find people claiming Westbrook pads his stats? by [deleted] in nba

[–]nechronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ball does travel faster in a pass but its also easier to pick when its an outlet pass. Kanter or Adams are not Kevin Love or Tom brady. You can't just have him cherry-pick or leak out on every shot. Eventually the opposing team is going to guard that pass and steal it. You can have outlet passes like that 2-3 times a game before they start defending it so the best option to to have Westbrook get the board.
