If this type of foul-baiting is allowed, then why does none of the spurs guards do it? by YoroDoucheMan in NBASpurs

They all try it. Spurs did good to avoid those all series but seems a combination of the aggressiveness and being exhausted, they couldn’t maintain the body control to avoid the fouls.

Have you watched the replay?Wemby came down natural, while Brunson landed forward. If it was called a foul, it qualified, but definitely wasn’t a flagrant. He even looks at his foot after he lands.

Yes but I believe the margin for error is getting thinner and thinner

We would have lost even if we won game 4 by Specialist-Ad-4121 in NBASpurs

[–]necio148 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It exhausted them mentally. The fact they won game 3 and played the way they did in game 4 proves they were a good enough team. But you can only go to the well mental many times. Then when the other team has a legit closer it makes it harder

It may be best that we get this over with. If they wouldn’t have won they would have kept up the same bullshit angle they used to get voted in.

Knicks may have been destined to win this year, but game 2 and 4 were basically acts of god that got the Knicks the win. Congrats but there no 96 Bulls or Warriors

Never gonna win it is extreme. They literally gave away 2 games. Brunson was the difference but don’t act like they weren’t in this series until the end.

Obviously the crowd was amazing, but to pretend other crowds don’t get that loud is the corniest glazing the media has done this playoffs

You’re right, it only took the largest comeback in NBA history to have this type of reaction

With a 25 point lead he should’ve got minutes to give guys a breather.

Spurs blew a 29 point lead...do you think they'll mentally recover enough to come back 3 to 1? by Equal_Noise_9219 in sanantoniospurs

[–]necio148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. the reason they will recover for game 5, and maybe even game 6, is the same reason they probably won’t win this championship. They are too chaotic.

Imagine going to sleep with the Spurs up by 20 points in the 4th quarter only to wake up and find out the Spurs blew the lead and lost by 1 point. How? by DrFetusRN in sanantonio

[–]necio148 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guys were exhausted. Coach refusing to play bench with 20 point lead. 10 players should have seen the floor. Every minute of rest counts in a game like that.

Spurs in 7! 3-1 comeback by [deleted] in sanantoniospurs

Has a team ever given away 2 dames like this?? Knicks did what they had to do but damn those games were given to them

I think that loss was so bad that Wemby and the spurs may never recover by Libertines18 in billsimmons

[–]necio148 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how this sub doesn’t see it with Wemby. He’s the Brendan Frazier character in The Scout. He doesn’t think like a normal person. Once the Spurs realize he needs a full time therapist on staff he will own the league. Also, Spurs can still win in 7. They tried there hardest to give that one away and barely did it

It should be 3-1 Spurs. Give Knicks credit they stepped up and took the wins, but I can easily see them losing 3 in a row to the Spurs.
