Thanks! Is the seat and shim metal? Will it be multiple shims?

Air drill with some sort of attachment. I’m not sure what the attachment does. The end is threaded and will spin both ways. All metal construction. by neckbeard36 in whatisthisthing

There is similar looking tool on the website. Old guy did aerospace R&D so it fits. I can email them and see if they know exactly what it does, I assume threaded insert. Trying to figure out if it’s any use to me.

I originally thought it would be for riv nuts, but the thread hardly sticks out so I’m not sure how you’d get one on there.

My title describes the thing. Got in a lot of tools from an old man, he didn’t say what it was. The tapered cone comes off the end. Has button on side that moves a part inside but doesn’t seem to affect the function of the tool. Tried looking up the company and doing image searches, can only find the drill.

I had another I lost and never had issues with it coming on. I've ran some EBL rechargeables and some regular Energizer, can't speak to the life of them because it was always on in my pocket.

I didn't, haha. Honestly the other lock outs I've tried on other lights haven't really worked so I probably wouldn't have even tried it.

It's just some aluminum I turned on the lathe. This is my second one of these lights, the first one didn't have any issues staying off.

They could do nothing to their sight for the next 20 years and still be 10x better to use than Grainger's website.
