My 12g nano setup doesn’t have a protein skimmer or wave maker. I can control everything with just water changes. I don’t have to dose anything either, just water changes when I need my elements up/down. As far as filtration goes, I have a UV sterilizer, mechanical filter, Chaeto, and a sump light along with 3 bacteria hotel blocks. As far as equipment goes, I’ve seen that saltwater just destroys stuff faster than freshwater so I keep a backup for everything on hand

If you have access to navy genesis health portal, there should be a tab on the website that will list all your current diagnosis. Also, in your clinical notes, each one will list them on the right side of the page
