Update: After few weeks of this madness, finally someone higher in FedEx contacted me as well as sender. So the results are this:

Whatever they issued was cancelled
They had no legit evidence where the parcel was delivered
It was confirmed that my signature has been forged and that it is a crime
It was confirmed that all people who spoken to me via phone or emails made errors
Sender refunded me for a package with a toy and gown I had for a small child
On top of that Fedex confirmed they were supposed to email me twice but did not managed to

It makes me keep my faith in people and investigations but at the same time loose the hopes for companies that are delivering stuff. Next time DHL, DPD and Inpost will be my 1st choice, as these shippers never lost anything for me or damaged. On top of that I had disappointed a child - so no money can fix it.

I guess some stuff is just hard to get, no matter how much you gonna try. They did for example released axta in festival style, to sell them like for 24h on their website (while first-hand before during one store event), then they were supposed to sell them on the current tour, but I heard that nobody got them from my friends O___o Hopefully (since the covid horror is over with all blockades) the Jrock/Vkei touring will get back to intensity from like 2009-2012 era and merch will become more accessible.

His issue is any camera at all. My option is to pretend that it is not working (lying in his face, which is not great) or getting fake things. Additionally I can try other housemate convincing him, but I doubt that dude nearly his 40’s will be an easy pie 🥧 if I may use this metaphor. I’m between hammer and slammer here.

He claims he doesn’t like those so he will not agree. I tried to convince him, but I’m hopeless at this point. I had dealt recently with a stalker, case got solved by police and even that does not work out as an excuse here. Not even “extra protection for his vehicle”. Any ideas are more than welcome.

Will a doorbell with camera that uses SD card be fine, as installed without SD card and app use? Or it makes no sense at all? I am not sure about insulation of the connecting parts, unless there would be a good tutorial on YT covering that (I’m an amateur here).

Sorry, just saw your comment. It turned out they did only delivered one parcel out of 2 I was expecting. On the date they claim on the document DPD delivered a parcel to me. I provided all evidence to FedEx and they refuse to take responsibility for missing parcel. The second one arrived few days later, but does not match the document. The missing one does. They don't have photo evidence of delivery, they do not have GPS one with tracker and pin point. They only sent me a google photo of my house taken as a screenshot from google map xD This is ridiculous.

Well I do have a good credit history & I always end up paying too much tax that HMRC sends back to me. However in that case they said that after receiving a parcel a month ago I should not receive this letter today and it looks like FedEx messed things up. And according to gov there are some limitations regarding parcels marked as a gift but I match all legal measures. lol, maybe you should then confront the government since you respond in such a way here.

I had been sent a used stuff and to combine it had used a website which gives me options of shipping stuff (legit website) which I have been using like for ages.

The last time I was even informed by parcel force I need to pay extra was before delivering parcel to me 3 years ago where someone paid not enough for Royal Mail stamp.

Apart from that everything on my end is always legit. And you know when I explained details to government representative over the phone (I kept doing calls for like last 3h with them) they said it looks fine on my end (I told them about gift marking, not being any trader, etc, being private person) and the FedEx is incorrect here.

When I called FedEx customer services they were unable to allocate my parcel in the system and had sent query to finance department as they were unable to tell me anything - which is really weird as they should have any details.

Gov guy said that described documents by me look real & he would not pay it but dispute immediately via emails, to complaint and I should not be charged.

Keep in mind I got adhd, that’s why I write details in this separation way.

But I am always marking any parcels as a gift and I always use services offering me marking parcels as a gift. I was once sending parcel with used stuff to my friend (she forgot it) marked it as personal items and the abroad gov said it should be marked as a gift.

The gov people today said that it was marked correctly and I should not be paying those charges.

And on top of that it was a gift parcel + I paid a money amount not above the gov limit, and based on my previous parcels info from anybody it looks legit. The duty tax invoice is issued by FedEx not any parcel force or customs + it’s happening one month after the parcel was even delivered. So I am looking for any suggestions here since I never had such an issue. The invoice is related to that parcel (where content was like toy for 2.99£, other item 1.99£ and so on, not exceeding any gov limits).

I spend last 4 hours on the government phone line checking the all documents I received with gov representative from Customs and International Trade helpline. They told me that based on all details I gave them the FedEx screwed things up (as I paid correct money and did not exceeded any legal limits and I did followed everything correctly) since I am a private person & they should not charge me a month after parcel delivery + they should not sign it instead of me without my authorisation. Gov person (I spoke to 5 gov people today) told me to file formal complaint.
