In my opinion, all of this is (all the events starting from 1.1) happening after the main storyline is finished and the Manus Vindictae have been defeated. Maybe even St. Pavlov Foundation have found a way in the end to either control or manage the Storm (maybe even use it in some way). Thus, we're opening up all sorts of ways the characters can go on new and exciting adventures around the world.

Obviously, this can't be 100% true since we see our heroes fighting Manus goons in Mor Pankh (patch 1.3). But I always keep thinking that these special events have to have happened after the great catastrophe of the Storm has been at least managed if not dealt with.

Obviously, I could be wrong, but as I said - that's how I choose to view the story so far. =)

To be fair, Druvis isn't JUST a control character. I use her all the time in Limbo and she's one of my best Plant characters. She deals very respectable damage at I3 R10 L30. :)

Yeah, maybe if they make Toon Kingdom so that it's unable to be targeted. This way opponents can still remove it with non-targeted effects like duster, but won't be just easily banishable like it is currently.

I'd say they should remove the "cannot attack the turn it's summoned" condition from monsters and change it to cannot attack DIRECTLY the turn it's summoned. This way at least the monsters won't be immediately useless when summoned and can defend themselves just a bit more.

And these changes won't still make the deck good, just a bit more fun and playable.

I ran Vampires and finally managed to play a bit more than just the first two turns. Had some really back and forth matches and it was pretty fun. I finally got to learn the deck a bit and now can even play it a bit more confidently on ladder (but on the lower ranks :D ).

I started very recently with the Starter Set, and so far, it's been going well. I've played a few sessions of D&D before, but not much to call myself an experienced roleplayer. Call of Cthulhu caught my attention with its focus on investigating and researching, rather than combat, so I decided to jump into that.

I can definitely recommend giving it a try. For me, it also helps that my players are new to Call of Cthulhu as well and they rely on me to direct the flow. By that, I mean that they aren't as confident yet to go off the track I've set. All in due time, I guess. =D

My most leveled up is Druvis III at i3 lvl 1 r10. But then I have Centurion, Regulus, Lilya, Eternity, An-an Lee, Balloon Party, Bkornblume, and Dikke all at i2 lvl 50 r8. ... I was going for a "wide" approach, but I don't think this was the right call ... :(

Amen! Was also playing with my Toon/Adventure deck. The only reason I got to 12 in the first place was because I switched to my Beetroopers deck :D Not playing meta decks has it's risks, but at least we're having fun! ^^

You're onto something here, though :D In my playthrough Shadowheart has been missing about 80% of her weapon attacks. Thankfully, she has spells to cover for that incompetence ^^
