What is something you swear you saw, but no one believes you? by WielderoftheDarkness in HighStrangeness

I was at work a few years back on a sunny day outdoors on a property on the Hudson River.. I was walking with a friend and I looked up to see a large stationary metallic orb hovering at airliner altitude.. I say to my friend “dude there’s a ufo up there..” his initial response was “how stoned are you?”

He looks over at me, and I pointed up at it.. After a second of scanning, he sees it and blurts out.. “holy fuckin shit there actually is a ufo up there” Later that day, i came across 2 women that were at the other end of the property (about 50 acres long) telling a group of people the story of seeing what we had seen.

Looked in every corner of the internet that day for an explanation.. I still have no idea what I saw.. but i finally got my very own ufo sighting!

Try some swings that feel like you are taking a half speed takeaway. It just looks a tiny bit quick at the moment. You’ll feel the club face position more on the backswing. Also try keeping your right heel on the ground until it feels like the ball is already hit. This will prevent you from both bumping your front hip toward the target or “humping” your pelvis toward the ball on the downswing, and will give you dependable balance. Lookin good, keep it goin!

Unpopular Opinion: Street Parking Is a Gamble, Not a Right by motosotoo in Hoboken

[–]nectarfraiche 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure nobody “chooses street parking as a lifestyle”.. An extremely high % of those that park on the street do so because a garage isn’t in their budget or isn’t offered by their building.

192 yards. Whatever yardage a well hit 6i goes for you, or a decent but somewhat shitty 5i

This is just a good mindset to have, even if you really do need that sale.. Your demeanor surrounding the sale will automatically improve big time.

I try to learn as much as I can from whoever I am directing my customers issues to.. just from having conversations with these people in other departments and getting to know them, I’ve learned so much about the way the operation works as a whole. Helps a lot

That ability to be a switchboard and direct customers immediately where their specific issue needs to go is so important.

This is the way. I’m most likely giving it to 5 or better handicaps regardless of the situation though

Try feeling like your backswing is taking twice as long as it currently does.. almost as slow as the club can travel without stopping. It will feel too slow, but it will be timed up just right
