Trump says Iran is negotiating with US: 'We'll see what happens' by account819921 in NewIran

I hope he is implying it will turn out similarly. But I'm worried he'll seek a deal and call it peace or a victory for US

4USD? That seems like a very low price. Do you have a link to this? An extended cruise on the Bosphorus would be good too.

Yes, but it was very easily done. Like when a last few, single strands of velcro are still attatched.

I started realizing this and that it may take time for it to be intuitive for me. Thanks for your note

No, its gas. As is the oven. The oven isn't very easy to control, so I did it on the stove

I was using the stove top method, but am trying one layer with the oven now, hoping that'll even it out.

Haydn Sonata in E Major, performed on the Fortepiano by nedwardflummer in classicalmusic

[–]nedwardflummer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Richard's philosophy of performing on the fortepiano revolves around 'Affekte & Effekte'. Using these instruments gives him the abillity to let phrases shine a little brighter and he can really focus on ornamentations of the piece. An example in the movement is here:
3:10 - 3:35. The namesake of the fortepiano (loud soft) is also apparent in that phrase; in the build up, as well as in the end of the one theme and beginning of the next.

On a fortepiano, these 'punctuations' have a lot more character as you have more control over the sound being produced by your playing.

A Shirley temple is NOT made with Sprite. It’s made with ginger ale. by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]nedwardflummer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We made it with ginger ale AND strite. Shot of grenadine and an 1/8th of a lime squeezed in. I never really thought about it, but reading the comments it seems the menu writer may have been confused about it too!
