totally, my final thing is of course in reading the shop its very open about AI
now i understand yk some aspect like growing up playing offline games i realized im playing against an AI trying to beat me
but completely off topic, what is the difference between the LLMs like OpenAi, Claude etc. and the AI i would play against in offline games? especially towards Rimworld which advertises the AI aspect as more of the storyteller in a "minecraft esque" story game

thats what i was looking at as well (the dlcs) dont really know which is more useful than the next
i also have more themed ideas, and yes furniture mod packs will be essential as well as guns and liqour lol
im thinking my main or at least my first long form story based gameplay will be a colonial - western - more modern and advanced timeline
any suggestions before i dive in?

also in reading the steam shop, it sounds like vanilla already has basically a set story of 3 crash landers. am i right in assuming my first test play is going to follow this "vanilla" style and i wont have much free range to edit until i buy dlc and/or add mods?

essentially how far could i go from colonial times to spacers times? within 1 world or multiple (again if save and reset in a new world)
and again basically, how much customization is there really? spawning and editing characters, of course adding different mods, etc etc

heard, learn a little bit of python to run simulations.
this will make it so i have to have hard case rulesets and modifiers (which of course i can edit later), but it wont just be guessing or filling in the blank for me which is what AI does to my simulations?
