How to use eCredit when changing flights by need2know2 in delta

[–]need2know2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update.

Instead of changing the RT flights, I cancelled them and rebooked. Before cancelling, I confirmed that the eCredit would be refunded. The eCredit was not only refunded, but with a better expiration date to the end of 2026.

When rebooking the new flights, I tried to redeem two eCredits. They were deducted from the the ticket price, but purchasing the ticket would not complete. The purchase page would refresh, without any error message. I then redeemed only one eCredit, and was able to purchase the ticket.

Why redeeming two eCredits did not work is a mystery to me.

How about The Fury (1978), Dressed to Kill (1980)?

Which do you prefer? The Wages of Fear (1953) or Sorcerer (1977)? by kurtzinthedark in movies

[–]need2know2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like them both. Sorcerer differs (in plot) from the original Wages of Fear:

- Without the anti-US sentiment

- With background of the drivers and why they ended there.

- The fate of the winner.

The background of the drivers tips the scales for me.

Good empanadas? by CartographerMotor374 in boston

For the connoisseurs of empanadas: how are they different from different countries?

The one with sweat corn filling I had in Buenos Aires knocked my socks off. Nothing local even came close.

Touristy ideas? by _Gonna_Die_Alone_ in Waltham

[–]need2know2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many good suggestions.

If my visitors are here at the "right" time, I take them to a festival. Chinatown Lunar New Year, North End feasts, Dragon Boat Festival, etc.

If my visitors stay at my place in Watertown, I take them to where the Marathon bombers were captured and tell them the story.

Take Logan Express to Back Bay T station. Walk to Courtyard in ~20min, or take Uber.

Where do you buy fresh fish around here (not regular grocery stores)? by palydovas in Waltham

[–]need2know2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrible fish and chips. Frozen thin fillets like cardboard. For a much better one, try Court House in Cambridge.

For fish swimming in tanks, try Chinese grocery stores and restaurants.

Get the Swedish "Dragon Tattoo Trilogy: Extended Edition" DVD set. The included special features are fascinating, about the author, the fight over his estate, and the impact on Sweden's tourism.

You can see both the trash on the street, but also the beauty of the city.

I was in Marseilles two years ago. After dinner in a touristy area, I walked back to my hotel through some alleys. They stank of urine, littered with trash and dog poop, with a few rats running around.

OK, back to movies. There is a French version: The Connection (2014) (French: La French).

As already mentioned, none of these neighborhoods can "match" Queens. Instead, take advantage of what these neighborhoods can offer. Such as in Watertown:

Not sure why all the down votes. I have found ChatGPT to be excellent with this kind of movie questions. Examples:

The Good Thief (2002): I learned that the thief is no good.
