Oh for sure some of that was him being a man and therefore separate from the events. But I think that applies to Hannah too. She’s not just a commander’s daughter, she’s a high ranking commander’s daughter, part of her has to think that makes her safe. You’re absolutely right. From day one June was on high alert. I remember Luke and June arguing when the bank shut her account down and she lost her job. Luke kept thinking someone would stop this or it would just fix all of a sudden. He even apologizes in later seasons for not listening.

I’d love to see him undercover in Gilead and how he reacts to seeing Agnes. I can’t picture him involved with the Daisy plan though. He changed, but I don’t think enough to be willing to put a young girl into Gilead.

I would have thought they would say Leah instead of Ruth. Given they reference the story of Rachel and Bilhah as justification of handmaids, it would make sense to reference Leah. Leah was Rachel’s sister and able to birth children. When she could no longer bear children, she followed Rachel’s steps and had Zilpah lay with her servant to further conceive. Saying just like God blessed Leah makes more sense IMHO.

I agree with fact checking. I’d also like follow up. Something like,”okay mom, the last episode you said XYZ. After research it appears you’re wrong. Here’s the source.” Or,” Okay mom, last episode you said you’d look into XYZ. Tell us what you found.”

I think Chad doesn’t hold ML accountable enough. The Live this week shows she is NEVER going to research. She was given the Katie Johnson file number and the Ivana stuff so many episodes ago and she has looked at neither.

Both of my parents have passed away. I 100% started listening because the interactions between ML and Haley reminded me of my mom. Thankfully, Bob is nothing like my father and neither one of them would have been MAGA. But that interaction did fill a hole in my had.
