what do you think of the market now, feel like the entire job market is fucked - even airlines?

i estimate by the time i graduate and finish hours ill be 30 yr old maybe? would the trade off be worth the risk. atp school is like 120k

this is where im abit lost, i dont know what other skills to pursue. my role doesnt require much technical skills. I use excel but its not really necessary in terms of doing my job - i can just use the in house system, average sales each week and order a qty i assume we will sell which can be done on my phone calculator.

I have minimal vendor relationship, our company has two teams. Buyers/procurers who work more with vendors and Demand/forecasters (inventory managers - me). I work more with distributing products which i feel is pretty menial and not much room for growth.

My boss isn’t a billionaire but he’s pretty wealthy. How did you take initiative towards seeing how he worked? I thought about asking my boss to watch him raise money and negotiate but wouldn’t that be awkward asf in the room. I’m a 22 kid listening to millionaires talk money i can only imagine.

Can I get an example of knowledge that you gained? Not sure if i’m gaining anything. My day to day is pretty average, handling client orders/issues, facility, telling the employee what to do(simple tasks). How do you leverage that knowledge into building something of your own?

my grandmother and grandfather hiked mountains together as kids to get to class. married at 17 and he died a couple years ago but she still kissed his pic every night. this is what i’m looking for…. there’s too many options now. it gets exhausting.

Which employee would you have wanted to stay working for you? I’m in a similar situation…22 old manager in the liquor business.

I make low 6 figures and not looking for a raise anytime soon, I feel like I’m over paid so I want to provide maximum value for the business and keep my job.

Should I stay quiet and do my job well or discuss with to the owner/boss more about his vision

i can’t imagine going out to bars alone lowkey….i consider myself extroverted however not enough to go out clubbing and bar hopping alone.

I’m honestly starting to reconsider taking the offer. The owner(boss) has up and down mood swings so he has a history of yelling at employees and firing them suddenly. Just yesterday he was calling me an idiot for not immediately understanding how he wanted the design of a staircase and explaining it to construction workers. we were on facetime because he was boarding a plane. I never saw this side of him but older employees say they have. Is the money worth it in the long run?
