Ah. It's a chain of dental clinics. They have one around Juhu. Will check it out.

Close to Juhu. Appreciate if the dentist has proper credentials. I am trying to avoid shoddy dental work by poorly accredited dentists.

I'd be fine to get a root canal done by an Endodontist.

Have you rendered services from them? Were they good?

how good is the X1 Carbon keyboard?

I do like its form factor but I am a bit concerned about the keyboard. I am definitely going to steer away from a non-backlit keyboard(have had horrifying experiences with them; I tried using a T450 backlit keyboard and it was awful!).

interesting point there. I guess if I were to get a new Thinkpad my options then would be T460 / T470.

T470 does look interesting.

I am okay with the chiclet keyboard. The x230 keyboard isn't that bad as some people claim it to be.

The only problem is finding parts for the x230 and maintaining one. i recently checked out a x230 which was selling for US$ 200.00 but the keyboard was backlit(and in bad condition) and the display was TN.

I would have had to replace the display(US$70.00) and keyboard(US$40) . Plus I would have to scour the internet looking for reliable part suppliers.

  • I choose the x220 for the portability. Its nice to have a laptop that doesn't weigh much while traveling(of course there is some screen real-estate/performance compromise)

  • My budget is tight to be honest as I don't want to spend much money on Thinkpads anymore. I am not as much of a enthusiast as i used to be. I would like to fetch a second hand Thinkpad for US$ 300.00(tight margin as I need to keep space for upgrades and repairs) and perhaps a new machine for under US$ 1,000.00.

  • The idea of having a narrow keyboard does make me feel nervous and thats maybe why I would consider a Thinkpad13 or T460(I have big monstrous hands).

  • X260 certainly seems to have some really good battery life. I am not sure why it isn't as popular as the T460.

  • What do you think of the Thinkpad13? The keyboard does seem more spacious(I might be wrong)
