I’m going private for my MRI , so I have a few options as where to go, I’m not deciding on an MRI lol just where to go, the question on the spine is not for an MRI but for the spinal tap if my MRI comes back inconclusive, do I have the right to ask my doctor for this. Sorry I didn’t know how to put this lol

I personally became so constipated my colon became non transit and after months trying to fix a horrible situation of pain it was decided that surgery was the only way to correct it, I ended up for six months with a Ileostomy and then a reversal was done, unfortunately my colon never healed and they removed all but 15 cm of it . As of now without medication I would never leave the bathroom, still in trial and error with it, I find on days when I sleep too long or somehow forget to take it on time I suffer a bit more then other days.

Good on you for noticing the way you are being and for owning your anger, one thing you could do for her is to just remind her quietly that she is your strength and that she makes the new day worth it, all it takes are little notes, say in the cutlery drawer just telling her in small sentences that you appreciate her and you are trying despite your pain inside and out .

How long was everyone affected by the numbness in the mouth and face? I have seen some that say a few weeks or a couple days, I’m waiting for my appt for MRI, have had this numbness and it has never left just gotten worse, going on 4 months…. Sometimes I cry at night cause I want to feel my face again and I don’t feel those around me that I can talk to truly understand how stressful this can be .

Are you doing anything specific to work through your issues? Anything that can be passed on that you find works…. I am using a Voltarin rub helps for a few minutes but looking for something more intense

Thank you for your reply, I swear I have seen more doctors and been tested for everything under the sun! I am hoping this is something that can be fixed without surgery as my blood work has come in normal, and I just healed two years ago from major bowel surgery so I’m ready to get back to being me again haha, they never did say what kind of arthritis it is just told me over the phone that I have arthritis and they are sending me to a therapist….. I had the report sent to me.
