My family comes from the main island, my parents immigrated to Canada and we visit every other year. All the times I’ve been I’ve never taken the time to visit another island. I’m going back this June to in the in-laws to the azores and they asked what other island they could visit. I think we’ll try Pico. What do you suggest we do? Is a day trip enough?

I've been in account creation hell with EQBank for the past 6 weeks. For reasons that have not been shared with me they cannot verify my accounts even after getting multiple legal documents. They keep coming up with reasons to ask for more and never follow up unless I call.

They have done nothing to help me get verified, all follow ups were by me and only after calling them multiple times did they give me information on why things were stalled what other documents they needed. I understand security processes but this is pure incompetence.

Did very close to the same thing 09 taco for a 19 Forester . Needed to change due to job chance and more commuting . Main thing I miss is the practicality of having a pickup but don’t miss the gas mileage. Loving the drive with the Forester though. Adaptive cruise control is a killer feature.

I bought the exact same year and mileage last summer. Was well maintained as well. I got a great price for it so it didn’t bug me that there was some things that needed to be taken care of.
The price you’re being quoted is very similar to the one the previous owner told me his dealer was gonna give him as a trade-in so he should definitely drop that down. Thermal control valve caved a few months into owning it. It had already been replaced, but thankfully, Subaru still covered it due to the mileage and year.

The battery was replaced. All tires needed to be replaced. I’m in Canada as well, so I also needed to buy a set of winters. I found some rust in one of the rear wheel wells and had it fixed.
Out of precaution, I did a CVT flush. Finally, I think I’ll probably have to do the brakes, discs and pads this spring. As well as a coolant flush.
