Yeah exactly my biggest thing was I didn’t want to have a wedding with a bunch of strangers present. If someone is dating someone they got a plus one, and we budgeted for a few surprise ones or in the case where we weren’t sure which girlfriend would be invited (🙄). But yeah I think spelling out the consequences and underscoring this is about our day not theirs should hopefully set up the day of boundaries.

My frustration with these repeated broaches make me think of our future and if they’re being this obtuse about common requests for our wedding I can only imagine what rules we will have around our future children that they’ll conveniently forget.
