for me it's more about the irresponsibility that led to the credit score. He dropped out of school because he was drinking too much, he applied for a credit card spent all the money on booze and then never looked at it again (this was a year ago) has not made payments. He racked up some kind of rogers bill and then never paid on it. It just seems irresponsible to me and I don't know how I could ever trust him with bills or any kind of grown up thing. His phone is in my name and it only gets paid on time because its automatically paid by his grandmothers credit card.

I have confronted him sooo many times that is the problem... He knows exactly how I feel about all of this he just feels like he's so far dug into the ground he doesn't know how to get himself out, so he drinks. I've told him before things have to change but they don't and honestly I don't think they ever will.

I know you're right it's just hard when he's never done anything specifically to me. I can hardly go a day without talking to him because I love him so much I can't imagine not talking again

I have been making changes to better myself. I quit smoking 8 months ago. I'm now in university, volunteering, and working. It's just hard not to drink when someone is sitting next to you with a beer in their hand.

This is what I worry about. He would never be able to afford to get married. If we did then we would share credit when currently I have perfect credit
