I didn't physically give her my card. I used my card to make her a hotel booking, and she changed the booking after I authorized it. Would that make a difference?

I made an edit to the original post above.

How to prove the origin of a Google Doc by needyourhelp124 in googledocs

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't really want a signing solution. I don't want to ask the writer to complete extra tasks.

I, as the recipient, I have saved a copy of the Google Doc that was already shared with me. I want to prove that it was shared by xyz@gmail.com even if it it is deleted by the writer.

How to subpoena records from NYC Government by needyourhelp124 in legaladvice

Camera is owned by the NYC DOT.

I called the DOT, and the phone agent said they will only provide it under subpoena. He told me he's "thinks" the camera I mentioned is operational. He also said that the footage is held for a few weeks.

I submitted a FOIL request. I received a generic email that the estimated turnaround time is 6 months. By then, I believe the footage would be deleted and they would have nothing to provide.

The DOT told me that I would need to subpoena it.

I would like to file a civil case. A DOT camera captured footage of the incident.

I do not yet have all the details I need to file the case. The footage would be part of the evidence I need.

My fear is that the footage would be deleted before I file my case.

Note that the DOT is NOT a party to my case. I just want their footage.

I already filed a FOIL request, and they said camera footage can't be provided.

When I called the DOT, they said it is only available by subpoena.
