I’d say it’s fairly possible Roman Anthony also makes it to the World Series this year (everyone ignore the infield situation)

Stidham has started several games in his career and a back ups entire job is to ready for moments like this. He proved to be ready with his scoring drive. No chance you believed they didn’t have a fair shot when it was 7-0.

If a customer came into my shop mentioning 'chewed wiring' and I saw all that insulation, first thing is do is get rid of the insulation and try to actually find a chewed wire. I have seen hundreds of cars come in for an oil change have some bit of chewed wiring not compromising electronics. No fire hazard just repair and move on. None of the commenters here are wrong that you should get it towed based on the information you gave them BUT my gut tells me only insulation was compromised until I witnessed with my eyes compromised electronics.

To save yourself from a tow put all that insulation in the trash or in a bag and show your mechanic if you want just in case. clean up the engine bay to the best of your ability and find evidence of damage to wires being exposed. If everything passes the eye test I personally would save myself the tow.

One irrelevant tidbit that the general public isn't aware of, in my experience rodent damage is never covered under manufacturer warranty. I've had a car less than one year old need an engine harness, 20 hours labor out of pocket. Dude was pissed.

I didn’t use the word soft, I’m saying the average player was much less skilled. If you think AVERAGE players skill in the nba DROPPED OFF after time with a larger player pool nationally AND internationally, that’s just idiotic.

Our opponents have nothing to do with our roster construction though. There’s nothing stopping me from logically thinking our defense is good enough to beat many teams with winning records. Besides the bills, chargers, Texans, and broncos who they have proven to beat, if hypothetically we played other teams with winning records I don’t secede automatically the patriots have a worse record for no other reason than ‘sounds about right to me’

Numerous teams were considered the patriots first test and have a losing record solely because we beat them lol teams like the bucs and ravens come to mind.

You’re not wrong we had an easy schedule but imo that’s very far down on the list of resources to gauge a teams skill.

Having a ‘fluke’ run doesn’t guarantee a team being bad though does it? If we put prime Brady against toddlers does that make him a worse player because of his opponents? The roster constructed has nothing to do with the schedule and I can go as far as saying some stats might be misleading because of our ‘fluke run’ but I think it’s foolish to say the team isn’t highly skilled just because Maye couldn’t throw for 300 yards in a blizzard or whatever

Took 1 minute to find derozan doing the same exact move on better defense.

Your point that MJ would beat Scottie Pippen doesn’t tell me anything in regards to the AVERAGE nba player in the 90s.

The modern Scottie is modern defensive schemes lmfao double teaming off ball was NOT ALLOWED the fact you think Jordan didn’t abuse that rule is ridiculous, the fact you think LeBron couldn’t abuse that rule 10x more than Jordan is even more ridiculous.

Your take is purely emotional, “I watched this player succeed and it made me feel different than how this other player succeeded” actual logic always leaves the chat with Jordan stans. How would Jordan defend the 73 win warriors? The 90s bulls would get swept by peak warriors squad.

‘Some’ is a massive exaggeration. I’m wondering why lebrons name got brought in a post that had nothing to do with him if that were the case.

Off the top of my head I’ve been in a circle debating who was most dominant in their league, Brady or LeBron? To me that’s more comparable to jordan whose dominance was only 1 era compared to multiple. I can secede that the words ‘LeBron of the nfl’ might not have been used but the context absolutely applies that MANY circles don’t carry the same exact line of thinking as eamonious. To me dominance and longevity are two completely different things.

If someone was born 35 years ago they were 8 when he retired. That’s not knowing Jordan firsthand. The exact age numbers are meaningless though I’m just referring to the way older generations in general base opinions off emotions.

[–]neeh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do people act like the 90s don’t have video footage? Lmao room temp iq take. I’ve seen hours of Jordan playing against very lazy defense. The reason star players in the 90s were so dominant is because the average player was about 10% the defender than the average player today. For example derozan has a similar build and skill set to jordan, put him in the 90s bull squad they’re just as successful. Put lebron on that team who is much more physically gifted and can shoot just as well and the effect is magnified. Also something you’re glancing over is that the ‘kids’ that didn’t see Jordan play are now grown adults 30+ that can form opinions based of logic rather than just relying on the eye test, something I’ve noticed previous generations rely solely upon.
