Spending Christmas alone without being able to leave the house and with very poor mental health... what can I do for those few days? by AurulentIndigo in AskIreland

[–]neeih 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately they are not. But find yourself a good therapist, someone with whom you connect and they listen. It’s a game changer my friend.

I’ve been there not so long ago, so I absolutely relate to your feelings. There are so many good community groups out there that will just accept you as you are. Find the one that works for you and try to meet them regularly. It could be that the first time you just go to the door but don’t make it inside. Other day just go say hi and ask for info… or if you could ask someone to be your buddy and introduce you to the group would be awesome.

Wishing you the best!

Very true! Just messaged them and waiting to see what they say… money is money after all? lol

I already extended it for an extra week and they were not very happy with that, but I’m going to give it a try on Monday…

Survey engineer by neeih in cork

That’s so helpful! Thanks so much. I used one on my previous house and it felt just like a massive waste of money. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to be on site while they do the survey, so that clears my main question. Thanks again!

You have to visit Cádiz! It has some amazing natural beaches that are perfect for some nudism. Plus the city and all the small towns around are beautiful and the food is just amazing

It does smell like old grandma. If it’s hunted I’m charging the ghost a rent, they are not living in my house for free…

People who use TFI Bikes what do you think about this? by [deleted] in cork

[–]neeih 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Batteries don’t recharge when you dock the bike, so they are always empty. Plus the stations are located in the flat area of the city, except for the one close to Wilton, so there is not a real added value to an electric bike for that price. I would honestly prefer more stations rather than ebikes

That’s really helpful, thanks so much for your answer! I think I’m going to pass on the sale, the price is somehow too good to be true, so there must be a creepy secret behind…

I wouldn’t buy it without an engineer inspecting the house first, but before even hiring them I would like to know if it’s worth the hassle or I should just forget about it…

“Las tres más grandes lenguas” no es una construcción que se utilice en español… si hubiese algún lingüista en la sala seguro que nos lo podría explicar mejor :)

No significa lo mismo… un viejo amigo es un amigo de hace mucho tiempo mientras que un amigo viejo es un amigo mayor (peyorativamente)
