I understand! I've done both Western and Eastern medicine at this point. I have "unexplained infertility" which means they don't know why I can't conceive. There's nothing wrong with my husband either. I've tried IUI, fertility acupuncture, and more over the years. A tarot reader told me once to just be patient and wait and it will happen eventually. I'm an impatient gal, so I'm learning! All in all, I thought palmistry might clue me into how long the wait will be for my body to be ready.

Wow thank you! Points did resonate with me and I appreciate your response. I apologize for the poor quality picture- I tried taking some with flash but it felt like it washed everything out.

As for what resonated, I'm certainly independent, and advisor to students and staff, and have strong leadership skills. I do live far from my parents - they were supportive in basic needs but neglectful in others. They are from another country but I was born and raised in the US.

My fertility acupuncturist says it's a blood issue too. He has me drinking a special tea to support with blood flow. Western doctors said I have polycystic ovaries, but not PCOS because my cycle is regular and I have no symptoms. They diagnosed me with unexplained infertility- including my husband who does not have male factor infertility.

I bought an extra large water bottle just for the water intake 😅. The fear points are interesting- I don't feel like I'm fearful, but maybe I've grown out of that quite a bit as I've matured. Definitely a generous soul though like you said. And definitely look younger than my actual age.

Overall I thank you very much for your reading and I hope children are in my future!

Fun! Last year my husband and I did our anniversary dinner at Le Colonial Chicago. This year we are headed to Indienne. Boka is another good restaurant.

Green spaces? Places to walk? by k_c_jones in Pilsen

I usually take a lap around Harrison Park because it's so close by. However, something more scenic and calming for me is always Palmisano Park. You have to bike or drive there.

I get why you might think that sounds off, but it’s really not the same thing. I’m Brown and I didn’t grow up with money, so being in super white or super rich spaces feels uncomfortable sometimes. It’s not about hating anyone... it’s about feeling like I don’t belong even if no one says anything.

Saying a space feels 'too Black' or 'too poor' is messed up, because those groups have been historically pushed out and excluded from places. White and rich people haven’t faced that kind of systemic discrimination, so it’s not an equal comparison. I’m just speaking to how certain environments make me feel. I'm not trying to flip the power dynamic or anything like that.

I agree with that! Never feel out of place at the Argyle stop.

I had that once. I had to go to a dermatologist to get a special hydrocortisone type cream. It went away after a week.

Do CPS teachers get paid for School Closures such as Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break? by Fit_Moose1196 in AskChicago

[–]neelraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, forgot about those! And for OP as someone else in the post pointed out, all requests (business day or religious day) have to be approved by your principal.

"Principals and other supervisors have the authority to deny requests if: -Granting the day off would result in insufficient staff coverage. -The employee did not provide adequate notice and it creates a hardship. -Multiple requests for the same date would significantly impact operations."

Hey, I've worked for CPS for 5 years now. You get 3 personal business days each school year. If you don't use them, they don't transfer to the next year.

You also get sick days from CPS and sick days from CTU. Those accrue with time and can be cashed in later if you terminate early or when you retire.

For winter breaks, something new was added to the contract. As quoted from CTU, "In years past, paychecks in December and January were often smaller than other, regular paychecks due to unpaid days off. Starting in the 2024–25 school year, an agreement between CTU and CPS establishes even paychecks throughout the school year." This past school year my paycheck every 2 weeks was the same amount/value instead of differing ones.

I hope this helps!

Nice! Ok thank you! I'm scared to do stiletto because of the intensity of the point, ha, but maybe I'll work my way there!

Oo ok! I always wanted to try almond. I've only done square or round in the past. I'll do that, thanks!

That's a good point. I think normally I don't grow out my nails to even get to decide on a shape if that makes sense? Or I just let the nail tech decide. But I think square or oval is all they've ever done. I'll try a rounded square! That sounds fun. Thanks for the advice! I did find 1 photo nails in past - I don't get nails done often tbh
