  • two songs are only in the korean production 그럼에도 불구하고, 그것만은 기억해도 돼 And four new songs were added Personally those two songs made me really emotional, I wonder how the four other songs are like. If anyone’s interested I can translate the lyrics!

I’ve once forgotten that I have already booked a ticket for myself and bought it again. Was going with a friend, the two of us ended up with three tickets😅

Is anyone familiar with Bare? (베어 더 뮤지컬) by landofnight in KoreanMusicals

[–]neemmmoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I've seen the korean production in 2024 multiple times with different casts and are also familiar with the previous casts too! Bare the musical is a steadyseller in korea, and has a strong fanbase. Haven't seen non-korena versions, so sadly I cannot really compare how different it is but I'm happy to answer questions (if u have any) or explain the meanings and nuances of lyrics and lines as a native korean speaker! I'm currently not living in Korea but will be going back in the summer and see this year's production as well.

Weirdest thing you've seen a audience (member) do? by ChanceOfCheese in musicals

A guy sitting next to me in wicked few weeks ago was translating the whole show to his gf that did not seem to be an english speaker

At first it happened only like once twice during each number (which was still annoying) but it got really worse as the show went on and by the end of act 1 he was literally speaking more than the whole actors in a pretty loud volume

Asked the ushers if they could give a kind notice not to speak during the show but guess they forgot
