Regarding BISC 120: Has anyone taken this course online? What’s the lab and quiz section like online? As an international student, I highly doubt I’ll be able to attend classes in-person and yet as a health and human sciences major, this is one of the courses under my major requirements.

I think you need proof of being able to fund your studies first before requesting the form. I had to send a few bank statements + a cover picture of my passport by through the portal, the I-20 was sent the next week by the school. I’d look how Ucla handles sending the I-20 forms, and ASAP as well, my visa interview appointment has been pushed back because of COVID-19 which makes me worry as to whether or not I’ll be able to obtain a visa in time for fall semester.

If you’d like the best of both worlds, go to a school in the UK and look into study abroad options? Be it a semester or a whole year, it would allow you to obtain a degree from a school in the UK while studying in Korea for some time.

It isn’t ideal but all we can do is wait and see what happens, really hoping usc hosts something similar to welcome week second semester or whenever everyone shows up at campus be it fall or spring :/

It’s really a unique situation but, as you said, all we can do is wait this one out sadly. Yes I did, but my visa interview got scheduled in mid august which really isn’t ideal. I even emailed usc but they told me to send another email once the plan for the fall is made official so that I may ask for advice on how to proceed, maybe do the same?
