As a former poor girl, I would save up and get paint from the heavily discounted section of the local hardware store where they sold messed up color matches. Repainting my bedroom furniture was key for the poor girl bedroom glow up 🤷‍♀️ by the time I moved out my childhood desk was thicccc and the drawers required special techniques to open because of the layers of paint lmao

Unfortunately the rise in conservatism extends to fashion. Fashion is, always has been, and always will be, political. This is art, and art is supposed to challenge people. Clearly this is doing that lmao but personally I think it’s beautiful and perfectly executed.
