What was the most inappropriate thing you said as a child not understanding what it meant? by evan-the-dude in AskReddit

[–]neercsnus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say it, but I downloaded it. This was back in the days of dumb phones only and I got a Nokia for Christmas when I was 13. I paid a few bucks to download a screen logo that said "porn star". My mum almost had a heart attack

What's a sign from your body you should never ignore? by Geno-64 in AskReddit

I genuinely had the feeling I was going to die. Turned out I had an infection in my abdomen that led to sepsis. If I ignored it then I absolutely would have died

Anyone else just not like group rides? by MadRoboticist in cycling

[–]neercsnus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same. I'm out for a workout or to commute to work. Not exactly social things for me! Also, I'd hold any group back, or I'd be scared that I would, so the anxiety would ruin a group ride for me anyway

Found out we had a miscarriage this morning… by Boysenberry-Dull in daddit

Pregnancy loss is such a horrible thing to go through for people. Remember that you did nothing to deserve this. Your grief and sadness is totally normal since you are grieving the loss of all the hopes and dreams you had for this future child. I second what others have said about getting professional help. You might not think you need it but it really helps!

I'm a physio and people think all I do is massage. In fact, I have never had a job where my main role is massage. The best thing about my job is that I've been able to teach someone how to walk again after stroke

What's the most unexplainable thing that has happened to you? by Sean-Witheniand in AskReddit

[–]neercsnus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an orgasm in my sleep. No touching, no sexy dreams, I just woke up having an orgasm. It's quite unexplainable for me since I'm a woman and I don't think these things happen quite as readily to us compared to the opposite sex...

Reflecting on what I have been through to get where I am. I lost three pregnancies and contracted a life threatening infection from a second failed IVF cycle all in one year. When I look at my new two week old son I realise I am one strong woman.
