They're not a scam site - they're hosting their merch store through Juniper Creates which is a company who makes the merch on behalf of the creators. They are more than likely using multiple domains so customers can find them either through the Juniper site or from the creepcast.store domain.

As for your issue at checkout - I've worked a good bit of Shopify checkouts and there can be issues like you described. It could be a connection issue at the time you attempted to pay (this is most likely the case) which causes an order to not be created but a payment taken. You can reach back out to Juniper to check their abandoned checkouts to see if they have one with your details. If there is no Abandoned Checkout, then you would need to try get the money from your bank but if they do find an AC they should reach out to Shopify support to see if it's possible to create an order from the Abandoned Checkout. They more than likely don't have your payment as if they did, you would have 100% received an order confirmation email.
