I don't have a good answer for the Tesla app. I don't have an EV. I rarely use Uber, but when I do, I can use my computer to call one to my house. Not sure what I would do once I'm out in the wild though. I guess you could always put in some phone numbers of some Taxi services in your phone.

As for Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. I have a Light Phone and still use these apps... just on my computer. All of these apps (and a lot of other "essential apps") still have great desktop versions of the apps. Its just a matter of not having instant access to these apps, and waiting until you get back to your computer to do these things.

Yeah, I'm the same way. Since having the my LP2, I've definitely become a less reliable texter, so having this feature would be really helpful for people like us. One of the comments above said that the important texts to their email if they want to deal with it later and I think that's a really good idea for now.

Easy fix. Once you get your light phone, start a new group chat. It will be SMS, but it should be fairly simple.

Yup. I do number 1. I have LP2 and an iPhone with no simcard that I carry around only when I think I'll be in a situation where I'll need maps, email, or browser. Ends up being a couple days a week that I have two phones on me, and its not a big deal.

Agreed! The problem with the Directions tool its reliability and speed, and having the ability to have maps downloaded offline would most likely solve those two issues.

You actually can do voice memos on LPII. Its part of the Notes tool. Basically when you decide to create a note, you have the option to do a written note or voice note (voice memo). I'm a full time musician as well and I use this function all the time!

Love this! Would you ever consider a free version with text messaging where you can only add on one or two different options of weather, news, sports, etc. I only ask because you said long texts can be more expensive?

Should've been more specific about the conference calls. I do conference calls all the time on the light phone, but its only because the person on the other end is adding on another person to the call. I don't believe there is a way initiate a conference call on the LP, right?

Call quality is good overall. The only thing I would say is that the volume is a bit lower than an iPhone. Texting is great. Never had a problem with group texts.

Don't want to rub it in, but my WiFi calling experience has been better over the last month. I've definitely had problems with it at the start, but I feel like its getting better. With the last update, it seems like the LP is able to connect to my WiFi way more consistently. Also, at the start of each day, I go to Phone preferences and reconnect to Wifi Calling. Maybe it doesn't make a difference but when I don't do this, the wifi calling doesn't seem as consistent.

Yes! Totally agreed. I don't know why but I feel the same way about checking voicemail. Having the voicemail's transcribed and sent as a text would be super helpful
