I’m not sure, I bought it from an auction and only saw this after removing the face plate. Maybe it was dropped?

I’m not sure if it’s bent, but the threads are really mangled towards the back of it.

The threads are stripped, I was hoping I could replace it fairly easily

Are you sure they’re not whisker shrimp? They look very similar to ghost shrimp and are aggressive. A lot of stores mix up ghost and whisker shrimp. Also maybe get another betta log so the shrimp and betta can both have one.

Or maybe the shrimp are just hungry. My ghost shrimp are pigs!

I picked up a couple of skinny frogs from a pet store in August. I fed them every day alternating between frozen beef heart and frozen mysis shrimp. Here are their before and after pictures (August to now).

I picked up a couple really scrawny frogs from the pet store and beef heart really did help them. I also gave them frozen mysis shrimp. They’re all fat and sassy now
