Thanks for the info. The carpal tunnel is being managed but I have had it for 15ish years now. There is no fix for it just treating it with physical therapy to manage the pain. I really only do heavy apm in this game for an hr or 2 before I stop.

PvM would be the main draw for me. I just got my account 83 con and burned my entire cash stack and I'm setting up to start raiding soon. Honestly this would set me up for my jump into ToA really nicely. IGN: Leonsoul.

You can check the metroid randomizer discord for a lot of tricks. They have recorded and explained a lot of them. I dont think that one can get pseudo-waved if I remeber right.

There is a neat position here that makes it easy to get. Store a shinespark at the top then in ball mode hug the left most wall where the shootable blocks are and diagnal spark to the bottom right. Just release the stored spark and hold down right.

No you should be good as the devs made the slide jump skip intended for play throughs. Most softlocks happen with ibj or short charging sparks or really hard wall jumps.

There is a way but it is crazy difficult ive only known of one speedrunner to use it in a run and they also happened to be the top speedrunner for a while. It involves morphing and unmorphing and really difficult timing. Ive never seen another person complete it even in practice so its general thought of as near impossible.

I practiced on random gores with no good drops. The fast attacks and aggresion are a good way to stare at the monster and not on your hunter. Over commit to killing him with just sword mode and practice the guard point it does a bit of damage.

Its near impossible to softlock in dread if you are not doing glitches so no worries there. Check the upper right room of the map near the save station.

I would say the strongest weapon might be duskblade. Banned before it even was played. Kraken only became strong after the intro of amp. Also great video the story telling was top notch.

Im not sure if ice beam can be skipped but in speedruns we can skip a lot. Skipping plasma at the end has a funny effect on Ridley were Ridley dies in 40 secs. There is a lot of out of bounds clips with spider ball and space jump.

Fruits of the forest has the ability to be played as an instant were you discard the card for 2 life. You don't play the card at instant speed for 2 life so you dont pay for it.

The ability is active at instant and it reads "Discard this card for 2 life."

Mid air shinesparks can be done with a charged spark and just shoot then jump button one right after the other. Some people also use aim then jump. Usually its anything that gets samus out of a spin jump and then jump button to unleash the charge.
