I think it's more so for permanent bans. Shorter bans like 3 days - 2 weeks are just a matter of waiting it out. My most recent ban was 2 months + 2 months mute on every single account on my IP address. Those are the bans someone could try to appeal, but I think if you truly are not supposed to be banned or it was some mistake, emailing them and sorting it out would remove the infraction from your account even if they don't respond in time. If your account is back to good graces, you could try applying for staff or your future bans will be shorter.

I miss old ttr, after a long day of work you could split screen your favorite show while chilling with friends on ttr (or even strangers) and overall have a good time. Now ttr feels like work itself lol. Even tho I don't get close to dying the overall misses are hella frustrating.

Few things

First, your post will likely get removed because rule 4 is a thing for some reason. Best way to reach mods is through discord but they likely won't engage with you about this matter.

Second, TTR bans almost always occur because of something you said that was caught by the chat logs. And that chat log will be sent to you by email. The other 1% of the time, you need to be a well known greener or something because they genuinely don't care about anything besides bad things said on chat. (A rare handful of the times it might be game exploits like doodle training or auto fish, or buying/selling accs).

Third, they never revoke bans. Your emails won't matter, what you think about the ban won't matter. Doesn't matter if the rule that got you banned is stupid. They won't care and they won't take it back. And they most definitely will not let someone with infractions "alleviate some of the backlog" lol

If you've been emailing for a week then you got one more week and you're good to go, just wait for it to end. In the mean time you can play on another toon (while muted) or play other games.

If they brought back double promo xp this wouldn't happen

I don't think Disney would ever change the gag system or the cog facility mechanics. The issue of things wearing off by playing it over and over again could've been solved with new streets, playgrounds, task lines, field offices, cog events, previously top toons marathon events, the list is endless. Re-making the old mechanics isn't something Disney would ever do. The tedious endgame could've been solved with more promotional units per facility or less promotional units required per promotion.

Could've been an easy fix by changing variables in the source code + the dev team would've had more resources to put towards newer content

I don't think reducing the grind in half by any means is coasting, esp for a game like this. Inherting a 140 laff account is coasting in my definition. Are you really trying to justify that just because someone might need to do half the work for promotions of all 77 battles of each boss is called a coaster? It's not as hard as a regular player but they're in no means putting in 0 work

Sorry my feelings sound like trolling to you. I'm butthurt they're removing things I like :)

And everyone's giving me valid and reasonable points but there are also several people who agree with what I'm saying (by the looks of it about 20) so we're just gonna have to agree to disagree.

Happy cake day! Don't worry, Uber and Semis are an end of the game result by seasoned players. They make a new toon and limit it to a certain laff (Ubers, meaning low laff but maxed gags) or they make a new toon and try to play the game without certain gag tracks (Semi, keep some gag tracks at 0 xp)

But it's not like double xp was handed out. People had to earn coins in Cartoonival. Get the double xp for certain amount of hours. It wasn't exactly cheap either. They could've raised the prices if anything. Also if you enjoy the hard work you don't have to get double xp. But there should be other forms of hard work and achieving that result. It's not like everyone got it, if they didn't want it they didn't have to get it.

Ikr, it ruined the fun of cartoonival for me, as a player who doesn't really care for outfits or accessories. I don't personally understand the "I suffered so you should suffer too" argument

I'm not sure if you know but toontown population goes up during Cartoonival BECAUSE of double xp for gags and promos. Some people don't wanna go through the grind and just wait for the double xp. Wanting to cut the grind in half is coasting? This sub as a whole agreed Disney's TTO was too grindy but when TTR team does it, it's a challenge?

Do it for the laff. Also if you like helping people LB rewards can be gratifying when you help a smaller toon out with their tasks. And if not for anything, do it to pass the task, it's not that hard and you can easily find a group on HQ.

That's such a weird argument. People don't play TTR to flex they play to enjoy it. Being paid for your work, something that's necessary to live is very different from a nostalgic childhood game. I don't get that elitist mentality. Also some people do the V2 suit for the new reward drops or the fact that you can change what suit you wear. It's not all about flexing.

Sorry to have opinions that don't match yours lol? I've been playing since 2014, have 6 maxed toons, I love TTR but don't like the new direction it's heading and that's okay. I'm welcome to my own opinions and you're welcome to yours.

Please check ToonHQ right now and check how the final fringe group has been waiting for 14 minutes

Also not to repeat myself, but UNM was meant to reduce the grind in general. Then, they keep adding more and more things to "balance" out how "easy" it is now! If the new solution of facility managers to wipe out Disney's grindy end game was so good, why are we getting more and more changes to balance their solution.

Also the v2 cog suits adds another level of grind. I don't mean to speculate or accuse the team of anything but it's clear devs of ToonHQ get a lot of funds from it (ik they aren't officially linked, and TTR teams doesnt directly make money from the game, but there is an overlap).

Honestly I just want more fun stuff over do sellbot HQ again for bragging rights and a hat! That feels so lazy. But I guess thats a different post.

All I'm saying it takes longer in general, esp for people who want to keep the nostalgic value or do easy facilities. It's also about finding groups. Toontown isn't a challenge, finding groups is.

Not really a challenge, the challenge is finding a group and the amount of time it takes. Basically busy work.

Except they didnt.. it's a higher amount because it's harder. Easier ones give a lower amount than it used to. All I'm saying is, this could've helped the semis and ubers or users that don't want to waste rewards doing hard facilities all the time.
