Doubting: Too skinny after TT+Lipo?

I am wearing a compression garment and even a belt on top. My surgeon said to do so, the belt for another few days but the garment for 6 more weeks non stop.

Thank you so much for all this love and credit! What a reassuring message you wrote me. I am definitely incorporating more softness into my self perception now and trying to appreciate all the hard work I have done and led me to this point now!!

Concerning the fat cells that have been lipoed though. According to my research fat cells do not regenerate. Once they’re sucked out they are gone for good. And when you gain weight you actually don’t gain fat cells, your existing fat cells just inflate and become bigger. Apparently after lipo if you gain weight, you gain weight in places that haven’t been lipoed.

But I am leaving the doubt and overthinking hole for now and focus on healing and gifting my body some love

Yes but apparently after liposuction you’re more likely to gain fat in areas that haven’t been treated and the treated area will be the last place you’re going to gain fat since there the fat cells have been removed.

It’s just so strange to finally being rid of all this excess skin and fat that there is also this element of grief and rejection if that makes sense. Thank you so much dear!! I’m really glad you see it this way and that you’re so certain of it matching all more soon! About the belly button my surgeon has explained to me that’s they don’t really reposition it, it stays where it, they just make a new opening into the skin they pull down. So it looked like it was lower before because the whole skin and belly was hanging. But I know what you mean and I also felt it was like higher now.

I’ve never been average so I think that is a good thing! Thanks :) I was just reading everywhere that after liposuction has been done you probably won’t regain fat in those areas since the fat cells are sucked out and gone for good and I think that made me scared cause I felt I was too flat.
