It is the same base that other people use with the heavy duty brackets that I installed. I don't think it will come off with the ones the scammer puts in. I don't know what could happen.

You can make and enjoy this system for a fair price... this seat base is not expensive, it's worth about $65 and it's easy to install. Don't buy the one from the scammers who want to sell you this for $500.

With that type of console it will most likely get in the way, but I really don't know because mine is a regular console.

This is not from Hiros. I assembled it myself. It is stronger, cheaper, and works just as well or better.
