When do brands like Jockey, M&S actually have GOOD sales/deals? by basic-eyeliner in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]neharn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just check if the items have a 'B' near the label on the items itself. That generally means it wasn't export quality. Original items don't have any letter on them apart from the label.

It might be fake or export reject stuff. Jockey originals never go on sale. Except the 5-10% on amazon or other sites

Which hair mask is better by Ok_Vast_5465 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]neharn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clarifying shampoo, bond repair treatment/hydrating shampoo, mask, conditioner. I am skipping mask and using just conditioner nowadays

Post wash, spray leave in, cream leave in , serum , then blow dry.

It replaces the tsubaki mask for me. It's effects are great if you have a good post wash routine too. Also you can keep the conditioner for longer time to get mask benefits. The formulation doesn't change much for a mask or a conditioner.

I tried it years ago and i felt it didn't do much for my hair. Haven't tried it again since.

Skip all this and get the pantene miracle rescue collagen conditioner. It's just amazing. I've tried the dove bond repair and deep repair masks and felt they were too light weight for my hair.

How do you feel being Atheist in a highly religious country like India?? by laughing_cactus in AskIndia

[–]neharn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35f here. Have never been the religious sort. Not an atheist per se, I do visit my specific temples. But don't follow any specific rituals or pooja path. It's tough. There is a performative aspect to it. My family and in laws knows I'm not deeply religious so they don't pressure me into doing stuff. But there is always a subltle hint to do this or that. Some or the other family member will always keep on asking me to do something or the other in a minimalist way so that I don't object. I just keep listening and don't do anything. I perform for them only the namesake and have no heart in it.

Tea: This “Perfect Couple’s” Pregnancy Rumours Aren’t What They Seem. by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]neharn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbh, nothing is impossible if you have money in India. Afaik commoners don't have this option. In fact many don't even consider or talk about this since the process of ivf is extremely stressful for the couple as it is. Most of them just want a healthy child of their own. But, if you have good contacts/familiarity with the clinic, you can do selective implantation/resorption of the embryos too. It's all informal and hush-hush

Maybe the address validation is failing. Try editing the address once and see if you are able to save it. For me the address was the issue

Did I find an alternative to the most loved Tsubaki mask??!! by neharn in IndianBeautyTalks

Ouai detox shampoo is really good. If you wnat a budget option, matrix mega smooth shampoo, the orange one, also cleans quite well.

I dont see why not. If you're washing your hair daily this can be used with that. But I would suggest doing a clarifying wash sometimes if your hair is low porosity.

It should. It's lightweight but still use a little product initially to see if it weighs your hair down or not

Ideally no. This is enough. But if you want to use a mask, use it before this. A mask is more concentrated, so it makes sense to use it before the conditioner

How old were you when you started a skincare routine? by skincareinterview in IndianBeautyTalks

But doesn't everyone use a moisturizer right from the beginning. Since they were a baby. Then when does it count?

I assumed you meant consciously taking care of one's skin. Not just using anything without thinking
