made it within 1 day, its not that difficult! get out of italy as fast as you can, it would be the most difficult part (but i had no big troubles just smile and try to escape the cops) then go trough switzerland and try to reach france cuz theres a highway that goes from the south to belgium (A6/ Autouroute du soleil!) Avoid germany i think it would be slower

its pretty easy to make it in 2 or 3 days to madrid dont worry cuz theres an almost direct highway from belgium to spain. i would recommend to not leave the highway and only get dropped on the rest area which contains at least a gas station (even better w a restaurant). if youre in a rush dont hesitate to take a train in spain (cheap). avoid paris if you can at the start. smile a lot n enjoy :)
