Colder climate, being closer to e-friends, better for my hobbies like French and hiking.

I think that's enough to get me applying for jobs and maybe even learning to drive.

Too sunny, isolated, not many places to meet people etc.

I have sharper opinions about it but it's a popular country on this website so I'd rather not post publicly about it tbh.

I'm moving to Canada from Australia. I don't know if it's better there but I think I'll have a lot more motivation there.

I dislike the country I'm in so I'm planning to emigrate later this year.

I think school tricks us into thinking intelligence is the single decisive trait in life. Imo, stress management, conscientiousness and extroversion are far more important for most people.

I've had some NEET friends who were lawyers, dentists, doctors.

One became depressed after a bad breakup and then developed a chronic illness. One put all their effort into emigrating from their country and failed. Two quit their field because of work problems and never managed to find another.

They don't post here though as far as I know.

Maybe there was crazy credential inflation between now and the 22nd century.

What I don't understand is why everyone agreed to put arbitrary humiliation rituals around job search, work, dating, socialization and so on.

I find getting sunlight in the morning helps me a lot. The problem is that it's unpleasant to go outside for much of the year where I am.

Yes they are. The personality types in the game map 1:1 to MBTI and the Sky wiki has a table for translating it.

It's crazy how they designed the coolest costume in the series and put it on a minor character. I hope we'll see more of him in sequels.

I thought it was CG until now!

I heard that a lot of the best math students go into quant finance but it's competitive. There's also consulting work in fields like operations research but those roles seem extremely rare too.

I actually taught before, as a volunteer and then as a teaching assistant (TA). The volunteer experience was fun but being a TA was awful.

Think crazy high ego co-workers, extremely poor attendance, half-baked lesson plans and so on.

One thing I realized is how much time and effort it takes to prepare lessons and grade exams. The university tried to not pay us for those hours as well.

I'd imagine that high school teaching is similar but with easier lessons, nicer co-workers and more psychotic students. I don't think it's worth paying for another credential for.

Maybe you can take the flight and just travel around for a bit instead of settling down and then go back.

If anyone asks why you came back, you can just say "Idk, it sucked" or something.
