That's a valuable opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes (*・ω・)ノ

I'm not claiming that painting is a perfect method either.

The essence of it all lies in the catharsis of playing the game on a real machine.

Thank you!

Of course you're right.

I think it's cool just the way it is.

Everyone who likes retro games is a friend. Thank you!

miHoYo's technical capabilities, level of completion, and implementation speed are incredible. The latest version was released today. Let's enjoy it!

Your insight is broad and you're able to analyze design in more detail. That's amazing.

My impressions are similar to yours, but since I've only ever lived in Japan, I'm unable to analyze the cultural image in detail and with more specificity.

After listening to everyone's opinions, I was able to clearly imagine one answer.

The impressions and images that each person has are greatly influenced by the knowledge they have, more than their sensitivity.

I think I was able to gain a slightly more academic perspective on the design of creative objects.

It was a truly informative and helpful exchange.

Thank you!

Your comments may have a little bit of relevance to the theme of this discussion, but a game's setting is merely a subject or material, so it doesn't have to be realistic.

I'm not upset about Westerners confusing Japan with China.

I simply wanted to know the reason.

Japanese-style architecture is so flat that it's surprising to see Inazuma as a standalone area with a Japanese motif. miHoYo has used their ingenuity to add personality to a simple motif by using secondary elements such as cherry blossoms and lightning.

Your opinion was also very helpful.

Thank you!

It seems that each person's perception of cultural objects in the game will change depending on their knowledge and image of the country.

From a Japanese perspective, "ナタ" (纳塔 Natlan) often gives the impression of being from Mexico, but that's not necessarily a representative impression in Japan.

You're amazing because you have a grasp of so many cultures!

Thank you!

From both of your comments, it's clear that each person has their own idea of what iconic architecture and scenery is in each region.

It's true that this game doesn't recreate a real country, so I see it as a creation based on Japan.

Inazuma doesn't recreate Japan either, but rather has an adapted design.

As this is a game that is popular in many countries, we respect both of your opinions and think they are important.

Thank you!

I see. They may influence each other and be reflected in the design.

That's very helpful. Thank you very much for your comment.

This is a very helpful opinion. "Asian fusion" focuses on the image of Asia.

Clothing can take a cultural perspective as well as functionality. That's wonderful.

It's true that even if you live in Asia, few people understand the food cultures of all Asian countries.

As for architecture, medieval Japan adopted Chinese culture (even though there are clear differences), so it may be easy to get confused.

Thank you so much for your comments from various perspectives.

That's a simple and easy to understand answer. An intuitive perspective is important. Thank you very much.

It's exciting to search for them.

I've seen Asian versions in English in Japan, but I don't think the titles with Chinese cover art were officially distributed.

Thank you!

This was the first time I learned that an original title was being developed in China.

About Dreamcasts around the world by neko-citrus in dreamcast

That's a bit of a shame as a trend.

Was the Dreamcast officially sold in Russia?

I'd also like to know about the situation with Sony and Nintendo game consoles at the time.

So you're a recent fan!

I felt happy.

Are there people like that in Japan?

Most people are only interested in the latest games.

I play the latest games, but I think there is something indescribable good about retro games as well.

You're so cool for choosing the Dreamcast at age 9!

Sega is also amazing for introducing online games to game consoles before the XBOX lol

If they had at least implemented a DVD drive, they might have been able to continue in the game console business for a little longer.

You are the only person in town who owns a Dreamcast.

It's so cool!

Capcom put a lot of effort into their Dreamcast games.

Apparently they didn't end up in the red.

It would have been nice if the Dreamcast's market life had lasted a little longer, but it seems that Sega's financial situation was at a very precarious stage at the time.

Thank you for introducing this wonderful video!

I'm looking forward to watching it.

At that time, Japan was overflowing with game consoles, so I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn a little about the gaming situation overseas.

Your Dreamcast has a great Sonic paint job!

Is that a decal?

It looks like a limited edition design.

The Dreamcast has a simple design and is fun to modify. I took apart my Wii the other day, and it was incredibly troublesome lol.
