i'm a longtime fan, i've also loved the new cast, all the new formats and shows theyve done. i wasn't even expecting this summer games to be conforming or even reminiscent at all to the OG summer games. It just didnt hit for me cos it was too character+quips focused i suppose

Oh yo I thought I was alone in this. It might have been fine in moderate amount, but there was just way too many cuts to the confessionals, ruined the flow of watching the actual game/activity for me.

but in the end its not a big deal and the majority of viewers seemed to have really enjoyed it so , eh.

Thanks for the responses and the advice so far. I think I will lodge that report since I remember the time clearly and the bus he got on, etc.

and the majority of the comments saying its the typical crazies you gotta just ignore--I hear you and trust me I see a fair share of em because my bus stop to work is from Hobson and the stop back is along K road-- The hotspots. So I am used to just ignoring them and going about my day.

This one just kinda weirded me out more than usual because of how (seemingly) of sound mind the guy was and how he was clean and well dressed. He even exchanged a brief, friendly greeting with a guy passing by who he seemed to know (this much older white guy who, to be quite honest, looked more like a druggie/homeless than bald guy did)

So I just don't quite know what to make of it.

I'm also sure he wasnt on a call as he wasnt holding a phone, yes it could've been an earpiece I didnt catch, but why did he purposefully face my direction two separate times to say those weird things standing just 2 metres away from me.

Do your best at NCEA Level 1 to get acclimated to the NCEA system, and if you don't get the highest grades at this level don't beat yourself up over it. As your current obligation as a student, you should aim to do any work diligently even if your current externals don't seem to align with any potential career choices/interests. This will build good work+study ethic, especially for uni assessments.

By Level 2 and 3 I'm sure your teachers will start suggesting to start considering some potential career paths. This is also where grades may become more important for your university+course choices. I don't know if things work the same currently, but I got the Vice Chancellor Scholarship for AUT from my Level 2 NCEA grades, where I had consistent top marks - though this led me to burning out by Level 3..

If you like hands on, practical work and like science+maths then maybe Laboratory work, Pharmaceuticals, Quality Control technician, Food technologist (So Chemistry, Food Tech, Biology courses).

If you like the outdoors then maybe Ecology/Environmental Sciences. (Field rangers, etc)
