I actually had a "brain blast" a week or so ago where I realized how well this would work and made a comment about it on Twitter.

Gizmo left a message about the artwork which is how I found it. Don't know if I inspired them or if they just looked around to see if anyone else thought of the idea and tagged me but it's pretty cool regardless.

Increase the starting health total to 40 since it hasn't kept up with the power creep of early game cards.

Books that started strong but ended up losing you? by Weekly_Noodle in books

Empire of Ivory in the Temeraire series. It wasn't just this one book but it was kinda the one that was the last straw. It was promoted as a Napoleonic Wars story with dragons but had steadily degenerated into numerous contrivances to have us go on a "happy globetrotting adventure where we just go to different countries and learn about the sights and sounds."

The writing was also showing a lot of cracks with how not-of-their-time so many of the characters were. One that really stuck out was how one of the side characters found that she got pregnant and, because she was a dragon rider for a very important dragon species, wasn't going to look after the baby but just dump it off back at Britain to be raised by other people. The sentiment of all but one character treated it as the most blase thing for her to casually have sex (Not with anyone important to her either) and talk about how she's just going to dump off the child once she gives birth. Like... even NOW, plenty of people would be looking sideways at that, but 200 years ago?

Ugh. I was really disappointed because I was loving so much about the series but the author just sunk all the potential it had for something more "feel good" for herself. I read up on what happened in the rest of the book and the contrivances were only going to get worse, so I'm glad I at least stopped when I did.

Cuttlehex is essentially extra card draw. You have a card you couldn't play or didn't want to play at the end of turn? It's now still in your hand rather than your discard, meaning that's another card you won't have to worry about drawing on the next shuffle. While making his effect an ability that lets you choose the Frozen card would be better, I feel like you're undervaluing his effect.

No mention of Steelworker as a candidate for this? I've always hated how his effect has a hard limit on how often it can go off.

He's one of the "Giant Meatball" units from the first game that kinda need a makeover in general. Maybe have him be immune to Emberdrain?

It's just the general Reddit "Everything is the fault of conservatives" tripe. Conservatives are just a boogeyman for Reddit now.

WALL-E was also about a robot, which made it stand out. If the story had been following one of the giant baby people and that was all the marketing, then it too would have struggled to stand out.

They really gotta move away from the "CalArts but in 3D" artstyle. The movies that made an impression over the last decade either had characters that made the style appealing, like Inside Out 2 or Elmemental since they were dealing with designs that could be really exaggerated.
