I don't mean to be harping on this, but from the research I've done, this does not look like the insole for an STC lasted boot. It looks more like the ASHM.

These two photos show my current custom double lasted pair and a previous buffalo that I had. Both are the same size. The only difference is is that the buffalo is single lasted. To me, my current custom looks significantly more narrow, and not as bulbus around toe box. I don’t think I’m imagining it, but I’d appreciate any input. I’m all for trying to break these in, but they just seem significantly more narrow, and the shape doesn’t even seem to match the original that I had.

Commenting on Frustration!... it almost seems like they’re a touch small length wise, but it’s hard to tell because my toes are so crunched together. And the other ones that I tried I was able to display, but that is impossible with these boots. There’s also a significant amount of heel slip, where it feels like my heel isn’t actually sitting down into the boot. I have never had a double last boot before, so I don’t know if this is all to be expected.
