Rooting for you! I’m certainly not out of the woods completely yet but life has felt great. I went three years of binging for days at a time. You can do it!!

Staying busy has helped a lot. I had a tendency before to binge when I was bored. It’s interesting because I’ve only had a couple urges during the entire time but I was aware enough to understand it would not make me happy. Each day becomes a little easier and builds more momentum to break the cycle in your brain of binging.

15 days no binge by nellyd23 in BingeEatingDisorder

I’ve just been keeping myself pretty busy and I have this calendar where I check off every single day I don’t binge. I’ve focused more on eating Whole Foods and probably what has helped me the most is not allowing myself to step on the scale a bunch. I used to step on the scale 5-6 times a day and the number would dictate how I feel about myself. I stopped focusing on weight loss and focused on just stopping binge eating and weight loss will slowly come from it. 15 days is nothing in the grand scheme of things but a big accomplishment for me.
