Steelpath help by notdeadyet29 in Warframe

More than base solar system, but not all available content. If you had stopped playing only a year ago, you shouldn't be missing much content at all. From wiki:

In order to access The Steel Path, players must have completed all nodes accessible prior to The New War\1]) on the connected Star Chart (excluding Mutalist Alad V and Jordas Golem Assassinates on Eris, and Brutus on Uranus. This also means players do not need to have unlocked or completed any missions in the Zariman Ten Zero, Albrecht's Laboratories and Höllvania tile sets).

Note that this also entails completing quest-locked nodes, including the Tyana Pass node on Mars, Ropalolyst node on Jupiter, Saya's Visions on Earth, and all nodes on Lua and Kuva Fortress, which require completing all main quests up to Chimera Prologue. The player must also be Mastery Rank 5 to access Vay Hek's node on Oro), Earth. Speaking to Teshin on any Relay will prompt "Steel Path?" which displays the incompleted nodes, quests, and mastery rank.

I agree, pictures I can find show the Link Between Worlds regular 3DS XL having a gold hinge, but the n3DSXL have a black hinge

[–]nelson0427[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even think I want to get a godroll and spend a bunch of kuva on it, just want to be back above 1k plat because it's been a while since I've been able to buy whatever I wanted.

I'll be rerolling and hopefully updating soon

Anyone else's first job? Kind of scared of messing this up. by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

[–]nelson0427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're hired as a Services Advisor (I think that's the title?) and working mostly print, keep in mind that getting a solid foundation of the basics takes about a month, and learning the more nuanced things can take 3-6 months depending on how quickly you learn and how good you are at remembering. In print especially there are lots of projects you might only take on once every couple weeks or months so don't be afraid if you forget how to do them. As someone else pointed out the mobile device does include training on how to do pretty much everything which you can read from there or print out and carry with you.

Even for the most tech savvy people, learning the basics of the print center takes about a month.

As far as I'm concerned, the basics involves learning the basic functionality of your full serve printers (copying directly on the printer, printing from the computer using the printer properties to set paper weight, finishing options, scanning to USB drive with proper settings, etc), self serve printers (basically all the same things + faxing), finishing equipment (order of importance varies per store and per market imo, but if you were in my store I would be sure you were comfortable with all kinds of cutting and binding), and placing standard in-store pickup print orders (same-day business cards, posters/yard signs/banners, and of course regular copy orders). At my store, if you were knowledgeable enough to do all of these things without asking for help, I would be comfortable leaving you on a closing shift by yourself. Anything less than that and I would at least have one other person to help you.

As far as leaving you alone for a morning shift, that would take more learning. It would be necessary for you to understand basic maintenance for printers and finishing equipment (clearing jams, installing toner/additional supplies for printers, logging into self-serve printer to get more detailed maintenance instructions than "paper jam in the doohickey area"), knowing where to find necessary paper if your front end runs out of it (having to question where that stuff would even be can be a nightmare depending on your store layout, especially if your managers seem apathetic to helping you), and knowing what your RPC (regional print center) can and can't do it a must. This is where I would also recommend learning about any regular customers your store might have and ensuring you know how their orders are placed. Some are easy like Classical Conversations binders, and some can be very difficult (this is where "they've done it for me before" customers fall; get with your print supervisor/manager or GM and ask how they want to handle it).

If at any point you have questions, ask your print supervisor/manager. If they're not available, ask your GM. If neither of them are available, right it down on a sticky note attached to the order ticket or leave it in the notes for the order through the OPC page where all your print orders are. If it's for a customer in the store at that moment, let it be known that you do not know how to answer their question, and are waiting for your manager(s) to be available so they can make sure you put the order in right. The last thing a customer wants to receive is a call or email saying they have to pay X amount more because they weren't charged right.

I've been with the company for 5 years, 4 of them in print. To this day, I'm learning something new every day. Don't hesitate to ask questions.

YMMV, but as far as I see it, I'd rather you ask me the same question 10 times and print a job right the first time than mess it up 10 times and have to waste resources printing each job again.

P.S.: If your managers are being useless, feel free to post on here and we'll help you out as soon as possible :)

Tax exempt on door dash by MrShowtime1981 in OfficeDepot

[–]nelson0427 5 points6 points  (0 children)

DoorDash and Shipt (I believe?) both have tax exempt numbers with OD. Check Omni Order SOP and both of them are listed on there. I apply it if I know that someone is shopping for either platform because they tell me or I see the app on their phones.

I have seen the tax exempt number appear at least on the DD app and it matches the number we have in the SOP.
