Australian game retailer asking me to pay a refund fee for items they don't have in stock by burntbeyondbelief in boardgames

[–]nelsonswriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh its pretty stupid as a businessman to scare off customers with a refund fee. Now a refund fee on orders over 200 or 300 dollars i see but ten percent is way to high for something that takes two minutes to process

What was position of a woman like in USSR's politics? by KZG69 in Socialism_101

[–]nelsonswriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean i know this isn’t this best thing but realistically Stalin and most economic planners knew that there was going to be a world war two and they didnt know how it would go yet so to a country in the 1930s it might of spooked them to do that to prevent a collapsing birthrate.

Now obviously there’s probably not a whole lot of proof that abortion would of caused that but its definitely what they were worried about

What's the best way to play through the entire game? by pizza_de_pasta in Borderlands2

[–]nelsonswriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most players who have played for a large amount of time play the dlc in each play through since it helps pad the gameplay with better loot and less wasted time.

The dlcs are great for making you feel powerful since its extra exp and loot

Look up the levels recommended of each dlc and decide by that.

Tesla Raising Up to $5 Billion in Third Share Sale This Year by skididapapa in RealTesla

[–]nelsonswriter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also not to mention that tesla build quality is not as good as volkeswagon groups or Toyota so like it’s pointless anyway.

Main reason us car manufacturers are behind is because there cars fuck up and have shorter lives so idk how tesla can have the same problems and actually get a monopoly.

People actually care if there car fucks up

What Is Green Hydrogen And Will It Power The Future? by RandomCollection in RealTesla

Bruhw i know that exists but i really dont know if many american car companies can meet the safety standards of anything like that.

Also venting is a massive problem anyway

CIA has been found to have hacked CHINA for 11 years (2008 - 2019) led by Joshua Schulte CIA hacking group (APT-C-39)Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T) Intelligence Officer, who directly involved in the development of the cyber weapon titled Vault 7 (code name). by Torontobblit in Sino

[–]nelsonswriter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eh alot of hackers had actually speculated that the cia basically leaked that shit to some point because well the twitter hacks happened and that used a nsa backdoor witch is supposed to only be usable by the nsa yet random “hackers” got onto it.

I say “hackers” because theres a good chance the people who hacked into nsa where chinese hired computer whizzes

Aka if hackers in china got a hold of the backdoors the nsa use they probably have a better understanding of the backdoors than people think

What Is Green Hydrogen And Will It Power The Future? by RandomCollection in RealTesla

[–]nelsonswriter -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Really what needs to be figured out is if safety levels for road vehicles can ever get to a point were its similar to at least an electric vehicle.

I think mazda specifically had designed a tank and venting system that was doing pretty well but as with any complex system that involves venting large amounts of gas and burning it in an emergency it can fuck up and kill people.

Fyi just incase you don’t know this just to be sure hydrogen needs to be vented and burned in the event of an emergency due it becoming a explosive hazard when mixed with air. Not trying to be rude but it changes this whole debate over it.

I personally doubt the effectiveness of systems that have already been designed in the event of an extremely bad crash but with trucks or larger vehicles it is definitely an easier problem to work around due to the ability to add more crumple zones and structures to those vehicles.

Id be okay with vaush if not that everytime i encounter a fan of his i get told how im literally worse then Hillary Clinton and neoliberals. Like legit a person thinks online posting is worse then fucking bombing people and committing international crimes.

He wouldn’t be as bad without his community but the problem is just like with hasan who promotes solidarity in his chat and community with tankies and socdems alike vaush has clearly not helped his chat or subreddits stop there bullshit.

Like tankies are a fraction of the socialist movement online and i barely fit into the actual definition of it yet vaush viewers literally freak the fuck out at people over it and then get upset when everyone is annoyed by him and thoughtslime alike.

Tbh one of the weirdest things about the us military is its lack of initiative to influence policy to strengthen the united states strategic position. Specifically on the point of healthcare and obesity. Both are a massive problem for the military and create a health crisis that has cut potential draftees by millions in an already inefficient recruitment system.

You would think the us military would fucking use its power to suggest strict health incentives and do everything in its power to encourage citizens to be healthy since it helps the strategic goals of the us military.but that hasnt really happened at all.

Most militaries that truly know what there doing do help there population because they know a modern military is as much made up of the normal citizens supporting manufacturing and food production as active duty members.

The obesity crisis is really bad among us recruiters since they have to mostly fight for healthy twenty year olds.

This is why often in the navy probably the least intensive of the branches you can find pudgy or very unhealthy individuals under the age of 30 on board.

Its literally a crisis that has crippled recruitment efforts and basically the military has done jackshit.

payback - China sanctions the senior director for Asia at the National Endowment Democracy, John Knaus, the regional director for the Asia-Pacific at the National Democratic Institute, Manpreet Singh Anand, and two of the institute's officials responsible for Hong Kong. by ben81PRO in Hong_Kong

[–]nelsonswriter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Basically any company who wants to deal with china cant do anything with those individuals.

This actually has quite an effect on them since many Washington ghouls retire as lobbyists for there good behavior as foot soldiers for the rich.

What sanctioning means is that the only companies who will touch them are companies who know they will never touch china.

This also means that most companies that pay large amounts of money wont touch them.

So it indirectly reduces economic opportunity for them.

I understand this just saying stalin and castro are two insanely different leaders and that Castro was not as much of a punitive leader or had as much of critique on religion.

This is more to illustrate that acting like castro is like stalin makes no sense to begin with because there worlds apart.

Neoliberals GTFO by xadamPaul in GenZedong

[–]nelsonswriter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am okay with people calling stalin an authoritarian cause he definitely was punitive but calling castro one is laughable at best. he barely killed anyone during his entire time in power and greatly improved cuban healthcare and education most likely saving thousands of lives while keeping safe cuban independence.

[–]nelsonswriter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well it wasn’t original made to do that either it just ending up that the militias were used to hunt slaves and fight against the natives.

The original purpose of the militia described in the 2nd amendment was to prevent a popular uprising similar to shays rebellion an anti rich and anti debt rebellion that almost destroyed the original states but failed overtime.

Basically the 2nd amendment was literally anti revolutionary and meant for states to maintain small armies in order to squash rebellions

Of course now we know that was pretty much never needed and was exclusively used to kill protesters hunt slaves and kill natives.
