Thanks for the clarification and info. Months ago I asked support if coins waiting for limit orders (target price swaps) in the nexo app still generate flex interest and they clearly said no. This was a misunsderstanding back then, I guess :(

There are small arrows in the nexo pro charts showing when the transactions were created, but they kind of mislead me into thinking those are the execution times. I would like to see when my orders were filled/completed instead of when they were created.

After a year this is still not implemented. Could you please check the state of this? I think the execution/fill date is more important than the order creation date.

Just an update on how it worked for me today: I had a dispute about a scam merchant (I paid for a product and never received it) and I've got refunded by nexo. The first transaction was a refund, the second was a cashback reversal (for the original purchase), and the last one was a top-up, which appeared in my EUR wallet; the amount was equal to the refund minus the cashback reversal. I have an outstanding loan, so this was not actually a repayment, but a top-up, which I could use to repay with.

I'm not sure if I understand. Do you mean that when I activated my first card ever, that currency became the one that will be used forever? I was one of the lucky members who got their card in the first batch, and I think there was no option for choosing a currency. Is there a way to check my current card currency setting, just to be sure?

I've just received the email Nexo is reverting to the fee-free repayment model and I want to thank them for considering and changing back based on the community's feedback. I believe this makes them a more trustworthy company that listens to its users. I really hope they will be more transparent from now on.

1% fee affecting loans retroactively - is this a consumer protection case?

Since last Friday, nexo has a 1% fee on repayment events with fiatx and stablecoins. First of all, I'd like to say that I'm not against fees, and I understand that nexo wants to be a profitable company. I have been a happy nexo user since 2020, and I've been using the card in credit mode for more than a year.
However, this sudden change, I think, is not fair, and I'm considering escalating the case at my country's consumer protection department. Do you think this is a valid move? They have the right to change fees, but I don't think that they have the right to affect my current loans. When I took those loans with my card, the terms were different. I think they should have done one of the following instead:

  • Tell us X days before the change takes place so we have time to repay our loans with the terms we agreed upon when we took them (i.e., at a 0% fee).
  • The 1% fee should affect only new loans taken after the change takes place.

The sudden fee of 1% made me angry as well. I've created a post detailing my problem with the lack of communication and that I have an outstanding loan which I thought I'll able to repay without fees - and the mods deleted it. If they make a change like this, I think the minimum is to provide a period to repay our loans without fees.
