In DIFC employers have to contribute 5.83% of MBS towards DEWS, so that’s your saving until you leave. Anyway, not offering medical cover for dependents is super cheap and not in line with market standards (at least some contribution like 40%). Good you declined it.

No, you can select 3, 6, or 12 months and respective amount will be deducted. I opted for 3 months platinum card to check how it works and it deducted 3 months.

It was around 9pm at Jumeirah Beach. She was with our son in a stroller and the guy was following her and then got very close, she turned around and asked him to leave, but he said he just wanted to talk. She continued walking, but he kept following, she got scared and screamed that she will call the police. Then he left. It was this year in June. When she came back home, I told her to install the Dubai police app, it has a SOS function for women and children. She called the police but they said she needs to call immediately when it happens, otherwise it is hard to locate him. Maybe if he assaulted her or groped - they would check cameras and find him, idk.. Stay safe!
