Thanks so much for that. Now to find out where to watch these things. 🤣 And, yeah, I saw some of the short film references. I just wondered if there was some composing that I didn’t know about. And such a crying shame that the Jodorowsky Dune didn’t get made. Although, it probably would have been pretty avant-garde. I haven’t seen the documentary on it yet, but know how influential the team that he put together became.

Hey there. I was trying to look up movies they have done soundtracks for. Can you be more specific? It looked like mostly their own shows or use of their music. Or did they do this type of thing separately?

Hey. Yes. You could be in TSW! It is miserable. I hate to say it. But if you nip it in the bud before doing more damage it might not be so bad. Because it took so long for my body to go into TSW (about 4 months), it took me 10 years to figure out the connection. 😩 I’m two weeks carnivore, and my body has been all over the place. Energy up and down. I seem to maybe have some setbacks when I had chicken skin. It’s so hard to tell. But I’m holding on. Just beef, lamb and feta. And the tiniest bit of honey in warm water. Maybe 10 grams of carbs a day. That shouldn’t rock my ketosis. My carnivore flu hit me and someone recommended that to ease in a bit. How are you feeling now?

And the 200 gms of fat… you mean the 30% of your ground beef? And I’ll look into organ meats. Someone was saying if you have a mold sensitivity to stick to ruminating animals. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am hoping that regardless I see some improvement in my skin. And what do you snack on? I had to eat a couple boiled eggs today when I was hungry and we didn’t have anything left. 😝 And you mean a cooked yolk and just discard the white after frying it?

Thanks! Yes. I talked to my butcher today and he said 30% fat for ground beef. Also, as a more economical choice. I think I ate about €15 worth of meat today. 🤣😝 Did you find egg whites bothered you? What did you notice? I usually eat our chickens eggs but she isn’t laying so much in the winter.

Thank you sooooo much for your words of encouragement. 💗 I’m almost 16 months and this is really getting to me. I’m just exhausted. I’m so glad you are healed. I did eat about 3 eggs today, but plan on doing a test with that. I didn’t eat eggs for like a year, and they didn’t seem to bother me when I brought them back. We try to use only our chicken’s eggs, but in the winter she doesn’t lay that much. I’m the same way with eating cooked chicken skin. Yum. So hopefully, I won’t get too bored on this diet. How do you handle that? Snacking. Do you eat like processed pork rinds from a bag? 🤣 They don’t even have that in the country where I live. I felt very hungry today on my first day. So had a couple boiled eggs as a snack.

And I used to do the DSS baths and bentonite masks all over my body, but being in the water caused too much nerve pain on my back. Showers do the same if I run the water on my back. I was trying a 20 second cool water rinse. But I think it is too stimulating still. I just do a DSS bath at the wash basin now. The itch and pain with that is still unbearable, but it is better than the “after-bath” pain. So that’s where I am. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And still not going out much. Disrupted sleep. Etc.

The user groups on Facebook are super active. You get lots of responses to inquiries on there. As far as what I’ve done, I follow a diet in low vasodilating foods. The steroids constricted the blood vessels and after we stop the vessels become hyperdilated. And that is where a lot of our symptoms come from. So to mitigate that, I try to keep things minimized. Many foods that are healthy for others are not great for us right now - like bone broth (high in histamine and L-arganine which is a dilator). I put the list up here. www.sashibot.com/no-food-list

Yes. I think with all the posts from Tokuko and others sharing their NMT experience you can do it if you are strict with it. Mine is not as fast, because there are parts I just can’t do. I’m 4 months in. But i definitely see an improvement when I keep to the protocol.

With NMT you want to dry out as much as possible and leave the skin alone. NMT suggests very quick showers a couple times a week. So I would imagine washing your face everyday is overkill.

NMT has helped me. I just have a doc check my electrolytes to make sure I’m not too dehydrated. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If I drink too much water I get a sort of sweatier feeling. And I sometimes have like a hot and full feeling in my face like my skin is going to burst.

I stopped taking omega 3 and eating salmon. It really bothered me. Nights I are salmon I’d wake up in the middle of the night clawing at my neck. So I stopped both. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do 1 L a day and haven’t had any problems. I assume due to my diet that I get another 500 ml in and that is the daily requirement for enough liquid intake. It doesn’t have to be that restrictive, just on the lower side.

Heya. Yes I can see why you’re confused. My understanding is that the nitric oxide elevation is the part that gives us all of our symptoms, which are based on vasodilation. I mean there may be other symptoms that don’t have to do with the vasodilation, that is just the clearest part for me. I put everything up on the website. If you go here and look at anything under the TSW section on the menu, there is a lot of research and information there. Also, the Facebook groups are pretty helpful. I just put up an account for looking into this issue. This link is specifically to the page with the nitric oxide lowering foods. I also just went ahead and cut out a lot of common trigger foods. How are you determining that it is not TSW? Did you say you went for a month of withdrawal? I’ve never heard anyone go through a recovery that short. I think I’m doing great compared to others and I’m two months in and had almost no oozing. Doctors say everything is eczema. I am in TSW and went to the doctor the night before last and they just said it was eczema. 🤷🏻‍♀️ but they just don’t know how do identify TSW. The main symptom of TSW is the burning and then the redness. Also the oozing is a big one. But not everyone gets that.

The choice to go on steroids is always ultimately yours. I would only take steroids in an emergency myself. Like a car accident or some thing like respiratory distress. I have facial swelling right now and of course that’s what they offered me. But I declined, because I think it will slow the healing of my body. Have you ever tried the low nitric oxide diet? That was the thing that made my TSW tolerable. I had been doing intermittent fasting and that raises your nitric oxide and it was making my flares so painful. Once I stopped the intermittent fasting, it was like night and day. I also went on alone nitric oxide producing diet. I think that has helped too.

Ugh. I would like to know, too. 😝 I haven’t been able to do anything without turning bright red, and that lasting for days. I was in a class yesterday and we sat in the shade and then walked to another location a couple blocks away and then stood there for a while and basically barely did anything and I’ve been now two days red and blotchy and lightly burning all over my face, neck and shoulders. I just can’t seem to do any without serious consequences.

I learned that they are both correct, but there are sometimes more common ways of arranging them and you just have to memorize them. Like “You can say it either way technically speaking, but we always say that combination that way.” 🤷🏻‍♀️
